Description Full steel frame portacabin
Base Frame: The base frame shall be made of rolled mild steel channel/beam section. The main
structural element shall be of 125- 150 mm x 75 mm/ “I” beam and cross members shall be
of 'C' channels/pipe section size 75 mm x 40/80mmx40 mm welded at centre distance of
600mm
Wall 50 mm thick wall panel .(10/12 kg/m³), ,( polystyrene foam) as insulation . Wall Panels
panel/sandwich shall be vertically corrugated
Shell, Angle Frame Angle end frame shall be made of 50mm (4mm thick) angle iron .The shell shall be
fabricated from tested quality steel duly welded, comprising of base frame, peripheral
structure, free draining roof, . The 8 ( top/bottom) corners shall be sufficiently welded/
strengthened to facilitate transportation, lifting and placing.
Side and End The side and end frame shall be made out of pressed sections of suitable profiles / pillars of
Walls: sufficient strength of 3mm thick mild steel sheets. These steel sheets shall be treated for
corrosion resistance.. All gaps will be sealed at edges and at seam, bottom etc to prevent
ingress of moisture. Internal joints of the panels are covered in flat aluminum profiles
Flooring Systems: Sheets shall be continuously welded to top side and base structure so as to offer better
strength to weight ratio . On the bottom frame 1 mm thick galvanized steel sheets shall be
fixed by means of self tapping screw or rivets and welded . For tiling in ceramic, 1 layer of
4mm BRC wire mesh is laid on the 1mm galvanized steel sheets to act as reinforcement to
the 40mm cement concrete base that is poured. Then the ceramic tile is applied with a
20mm mortar after curing of the 40mm concrete base
Roof: Roof frame work is made up of 50x50 /80X45mm square pipe/U cup profile and finished in
0.5 PPGI steel sheet / alu sheets. Self draining type roof shall be made adequate roof bows
are to be provided. Roof shall be adequately cambered for draining of rainwater .

 Ceiling Ceiling is to be done in suspended acoustic ceiling made of laminated gypsum board or
ceiling panel made of same material as wall panel
Paint: Red oxide primer for bottom framework, epoxy primer for external wall & acrylic paint for
final 2 coats on the exterior.
All steel surfaces shall be pre-treated with anticorrosive chemicals including degreasing and
derusting and and these shall be additionally coated with red-oxide, zinc chromate, primer.
The external surface shall be finally painted with corrosion resistant acrylic paint of
reputed made( Berger) and quality as per your requirements
Insulation: 50 mm thick EPS Insulation, rigid foam , panel shall be used for walls.

Inner Paneling: The interior shall be aesthetically finished so as to give custom built appearance with
extremely high quality workmanship. All vertically and horizontal corners shall be neatly
and smoothly finished with Aluminum sections.
Main Entry Door: The size of the main door shall be of 7' height x 3’/3.5 ' width made of steel or Aluminum .
The door shall be of external opening type made out of the same material as wall panels
with door closing unit. The construction of the door shall be double skin steel construction
with 40 mm thick glass wool/PU/EPS insulation or The peripheral edges of the door shall be
sealed with double gaskets to make it waterproof & leak proof.. The door shall be provided
with locking arrangement with separate handles on both sides..
Aluminum Aluminum powder coated/anodised windows, sliding type shall be provided, made of
Windows: Aluminum section, clear vision or tinted glasses are to be fitted to it. Min window size/no is
5% total floor area. Sliding type of windows of size 1200x900mm are used. All with insect
screen and 5mm glass.

Electrical System: The portacabin will be provided with electrical wiring suitable for 250 volt, 50 HZ
single/3 phase AC power supply. All electrical wiring shall be concealed. Suitable copper
cables ( made in Nigeria)shall be used for lighting circuits.. ISO mark and concealed in PVC
conduits insulated copper wire shall be used for wiring to be done in PVC conduit with small
size distribution board with MCB protection and to separate with main supply.a) [Link]
size wires shall be used in the electrical circuit for external light, fan and sockets. For
internal lights, use 1.5mm2 . 4 Sq. mm size wires shall be used in all Air-Conditioner and
heater circuits and 10 Sq. mm size for main incoming. Necessary Weatherproof Junction box
with 40 Amps/63 Amps with (3p+lE) Industrial sockets shall be provided for connecting the
mains and shall be located as per your requirements. All switches and sockets shall be of
Panasonic / Hager /IndoAsian make & supplied as per requirements. Earthing : 1
galvanised strip iron earth electrode (2.5*4 mm) with fastening.
It is the responsibility of the buyer/ lessee to arrange for the Earthing installation on site.
SANITARY Piping shall be surface mounted with heavy duty collars and fittings.

lower chipboard cupboard..No cupboard above the sink.

Pipes shall be securely fixed to module and led to the designed exit point for connection to
the exterior sewerage mains. Shower trays shall be installed 200 mm clear of finished floor
to accommodate drains and piping.
