An introduction is consisted on 10-18 sentences and covers 10% of an essay.

1. Opening/General Statement (06 sentences)
2. Supporting/Additional Statement (10 sentences)
3. Thesis Statement (01 Sentence)

1. Opening /General Statement= Introduce the topic (first 1-3 sentences) + Define/identify the
topic in last 1-3 sentences(either define the topic simply or tell historical perspective of the
topic)
