What is Microsoft Excel?

Workbook

Worksheet
A worksheet is a page inside the workbook where data is entered.
Rows
Rows run horizontally from left to right and are numbered 1, 2, 3...
Columns
Columns run vertically from top to bottom and are labeled A, B, C...
Cell
A cell is the meeting point of a row and a column. Example: A1, B3, C5.
Types of Data
Excel accepts text, numbers, and formulas.
Formula
A formula is used to calculate automatically and always starts with an equal sign (=).
