Introduction
Consumers are individuals who buy goods and services for their personal use. Consumer
awareness helps people know their rights and responsibilities and protects them from exploitation.
Consumer Rights

Right to know quality, quantity, price and standards. 3. Right to Choose – Access to a variety of
products at competitive prices. 4. Right to be Heard – Consumers can raise complaints and
concerns. 5. Right to Seek Redressal – Right to compensation for unfair trade practices. 6. Right to
Consumer Education – Right to acquire knowledge and skills as consumers.

verify facts before purchasing products.

Skill. 4. Aware Consumers Build a Better Nation. 5. Say No to Misleading Advertisements.
