Class:10 P.M:

1. In a survey of group of students it was found at 55 of them like science 60


like mathematics and 35 light both the subjects but 20 did not like any of
these subjects. (1+1+3+1)
i. By letting set of students like science as yours and set of students will
like mathematics as young write the sheet of the students you like
both subjects in Cardinal notation.

iii. Find the total number of students participated in the survey using
Venn-diagram
iv. Compare the number of students like science and only mathematics
in ratio.

2. A man exchanged some Canadian Dollar for NRs. 4,81,500 at the


exchange rate of 1 CAD($) = Rs. 96.30 to visit Canada. After a week, due
to health problem he exchanged Canadian Dollar which he had into
Nepalese rupees again. On that day Nepalese rupee was devaluated by 3%
in comparison to Canadian dollar. (1+1+2)
i. How many Canadian Dollars did exchange with NRs. 4,81,500? Find it.
ii. What was the new exchange rate after the devaluation of the Nepalese
rupees? Find it .
iii. Does this work profitable for the man? Give reason.

3. In The table below the ages( in years )of 24 people of a village are given:

i. What is the formula to find the mean.

increased at 5% p.a. what will be the population of the city after 2 years.
i. What is the formula for finding the population after T years, when P as
the initial population ,R% as the rate of growth.
ii. Find the population of the town after 2 years.
