1. What are Landforms?


Landforms are natural features found on the Earth's surface. Examples include mountains,
plateaus, plains, valleys, deserts, and rivers.

2. Mountains
Mountains are high landforms with steep slopes and peaks. They are sources of many rivers.

3. Plateaus
Plateaus are elevated flat-topped regions and are often rich in minerals.

4. Plains
Plains are flat, low-lying lands suitable for agriculture and settlements.

5. Valleys
Valleys are low areas between hills or mountains, often formed by rivers.

6. Deserts
Deserts are dry regions that receive very little rainfall.

7. Rivers
