PART 1 – IMPLEMENT THE COMMUNITY ACTION PLAN
1. Title of the Project
“Clean Streets, Healthy Community: A Street Cleaning Drive in Barangay
Guintolan”
2. Community Issue Addressed
Many areas in Barangay Guintolan experience improper waste disposal and
littered streets, which can cause pollution, unpleasant surroundings, and
possible health risks to residents.
3. Objectives of the Action Plan
To promote cleanliness and environmental awareness in the community.
To reduce street litter and waste in selected areas of Barangay Guintolan.
To encourage community participation and responsibility in maintaining a
clean environment.
4. Coordination with Community Members
Before conducting the activity, the group will:
Coordinate with the Barangay officials of Guintolan.
Inform nearby residents and community members about the street cleaning
activity.
Ask permission to conduct documentation and interviews.
5. Assigned Roles in the Group (10 Members)
Project Leader – oversees the activity and coordinates with barangay
officials.
Documentation Head – takes photos and videos.
Interviewer (2 members) – asks questions to residents.
Waste Collector Team ( 4 members) – gathers trash along the streets.
Waste Segregation Manager – separates biodegradable and non-
biodegradable waste.
Narrator/Reporter – explains the activity in the video.
6. Implementation Process (Actual Activity)
During the street cleaning drive, the group will:
Bring trash bags, gloves, and cleaning tools.
Clean selected streets in Barangay Guintolan.
Collect and segregate garbage properly.
Encourage residents to help maintain cleanliness.
PART 2 – APPLY SOCIAL SCIENCE METHODS
1. Observation
The group observes:
The condition of the streets before and after cleaning.
The types of waste commonly found in the area.
The behavior of residents regarding waste disposal.
2. Interviews
Short interviews with residents or barangay officials.
