GRADE 10 PROJECT
2026 TERM 2

Deadline: Monday 1st June, 2026

TASK: MAKING A POSTER TO PROMOTE SOCIAL COHESION IN THE


COMMUNITY

Learners to work in groups to:

(a) Source from printed and digital media information on how to make a poster that
promotes social cohesion in the community.
(b) Make short notes on how to make the poster that promotes social cohesion in
the community.
(c) Keep the information gathered and the short notes in a portfolio.
(d) Share information collected, discuss and decide on procedures to follow to
make the poster.
(e) Identify and collect materials they will require to make the poster.
(f) Make the poster.
(g) Display the finished product (the poster) in class for peer assessment.
(h) Assess and reflect on their peer’s poster on the suitability of the messages to
educate on promotion of social cohesion in the community and make
suggestions for improvement if any.

The teacher to:

(a) Comprehensively assess the suitability of the prepared poster to promotes social
cohesion in the community.
(b) Orally ask the learners to explain to other learners how the material can be used
to promote social cohesion in the community.

The class will pick the best poster (on a manila paper) to represent the whole
class and pin it on your class wall.
