Scene 1: FREIDA BROWN STUDENT CENTRE (Late Morning)
Establishing shot:
Stillness. The normally busy centre is silent. Empty tables.
Wind rustles papers. A soda can rolls across the floor.
CAMERA: Wide shot
Leila walks into frame. Her small footsteps echo.
She looks around — completely alone. She walks slowly to one
of the benches near the large glass windows and sits down.
CLOSE-UP:
She opens her tattered notebook and starts writing.
OVER-THE-SHOULDER SHOT:
Her notebook reads:
“No one ever sees me. I could disappear and no one would
notice.”
She presses the pen hard into the paper, holding back tears.
She stops writing. Closes the notebook slowly. Stares into
the empty space around her.
A soft breeze comes through an open door. Her phone buzzes.
She stands up, distracted — leaves the notebook behind on the
bench.

Cut to a corner of the Student Centre:
Noah sits behind a pillar or low wall with a book open in
front of him — clearly pretending to read. He had been
watching.
As Leila exits frame, he waits, then walks over to the bench.
MEDIUM SHOT:
He picks up the notebook. Reads the last sentence. His brow
furrows. A long pause.
INTERTITLE:
“What if someone does notice?”
Scene 2: THE LONG PATH TO THE LIBRARY (Afternoon)
Establishing shot:
Long, silent pathway. No students. No movement. Just Leila
walking slowly — her footsteps echo, birds chirp faintly.
Wide shot behind her:
She walks alone, shoulders hunched slightly. She stops
halfway, looks around at the stillness. Closes her eyes,
lifts her face to the sky. Breathes.
Cut to behind a tree:
Noah watches, still holding the notebook.
He walks when she walks, pauses when she pauses. He’s unsure
if he should approach.
POV SHOT from Noah’s eyes:
Leila looks so small on the long path. A single figure in a
vast empty place.
MONTAGE:
Leila sits briefly on a stone bench, staring at nothing.
Noah takes a deep breath behind a bush, notebook clutched
tightly.
A soft breeze lifts a fallen page from the notebook — he
catches it.
Leila disappears into the dorm building entrance.
Scene 3: LEILA’S ROOM (Evening)
Soft golden light from the window.
Leila stands before her mirror. She brushes her hair slowly,

looks into her own eyes. She raises her hand, covers part of
her reflection.
Tear rolls down her cheek.
She looks down. Sits at her desk. Everything feels hollow.
KNOCK at the door.
She hesitates, wipes her face, then slowly opens it.
*Noah stands there. He doesn’t say a word. Just holds out her
notebook with both hands, like returning something precious.
Leila is confused but accepts it gently. Their eyes meet
briefly. Noah gives a small, kind nod — then turns and walks
away.
Back in the room:
Leila sits on her bed, opens the notebook — her eyes land on
something new: a small note written under her last entry.
CLOSE-UP OF PAGE:
“Even the quietest light can be seen. I see you.”

She smiles softly. Clutches the notebook to her chest. Walks
to the window and stares into the quiet evening outside.
CAMERA PULLS BACK:
We see her silhouette at the window. The room calm. For the
first time, she doesn’t feel alone.
