Course Objective
 Learn the fundamentals of Web.
 Learn to build Web page with NodeJS and ExpressJS.
 Learn to develop an interactive Web application using Javascript.
 Learn to develop Responsive user interface using React.
 Learn to design a Web application with MySQL and NoSQL database.
UNIT I INTRODUCTION 9

The Internet- Basic Internet Protocols - Web Fundamentals - HTML: Layouts, Grid, flex box - CSS:
Selectors, Variables, Transitions, Responsive Web Design- Overview of Full stack – MVC
Architecture: MEAN, MERN, Django.

UNIT II JAVA SCRIPT 10

JavaScript: Introduction, Variables, Data types, Operators, Type conversions, Control statement,
Functions: Predefined function, Function Expression, Recursion, Anonymous function, Arrow
function- Asynchronous function: setTimeout(), setInterval(), Callback, Promises, async/await -
Object- Exception Handling- DOM Manipulation.

UNIT III REACT 11

Introduction - JSX - Rendering Elements - Components and props, State and Life cycle, Handling
Events, Conditional Rendering, List and keys, Forms, ReactDOM, Hooks.

UNIT IV [Link] and [Link] 6

[Link]: Introduction, Installation and configuration, NPM: Development dependency, Modules:


Local Module, Export Module, HTTP Module, File system, Path module, URL Module, Events,
Nodemailer, Nodemon, OS , Bodyparser - [Link]: Request , Response , HTTP Methods, Routing -
Template Engines : HTML Injection , EJS , Handle bars - Postman API.

Introduction to MYSQL - Integration with MySQL2 - Introduction to NoSQL and MongoDB -


Installation of MongoDB - Basic Data Types: Documents, Collections, Dynamic Schemas, Embedded
Documents, Creating, Updating, Inserting and Deleting Documents - Integration with Mongoose.

TOTAL: 45 PERIODS

 Construct a basic website using HTML, Cascading Style Sheets.
 Build Web page with NodeJS and ExpressJS
