(BBA Level)

1. Simple Random Sampling

Explanation: Every individual has equal chance.
Example 1: A teacher selects 10 students using lottery.
Example 2: A company randomly selects 20 employees using software.
Best Use: Best when population is small and no bias is needed.

2. Systematic Sampling
Explanation: Select every k-th individual.
Example 1: Survey every 5th customer entering a store.
Example 2: Choose every 10th name from employee list.
Best Use: Best when you have a list and need quick method.

3. Cluster Sampling
Explanation: Select whole groups (clusters).
Example 1: Select 3 schools and survey all students.
Example 2: Choose 2 cities and study all households.
Best Use: Best for large and geographically spread populations.

4. Purposive Sampling
Explanation: Select specific people based on purpose.
Example 1: Interview only senior managers.
Example 2: Choose experienced doctors for research.
Best Use: Best when expert opinion is required.

5. Quota Sampling
Explanation: Select fixed number from each group.
Example 1: Survey 50 males and 50 females.
Example 2: Take 30 students from each department.
Best Use: Best when representation is needed but not random.
6. Convenience Sampling
Explanation: Select easily available people.
Example 1: Survey classmates.
Example 2: Interview people in a shopping mall.
Best Use: Best for quick and low-cost research.

7. Snowball Sampling
Explanation: Participants refer others.
Example 1: One freelancer refers other freelancers.
Example 2: A respondent introduces more participants.
Best Use: Best for hard-to-reach or hidden populations.
