SCRIPT FOR GRADUATION CEREMONY

Before we begin this ceremony, let me remind you to turn your cellphones to silent mode and
be courteous to those around you by refraining from talking aloud. May we request our
candidates and their proud parents to prepare for the processional.

DANREB: In every journey, there will always be a beginning and an end. But the end doesn’t
necessarily mean to be sad. Today, marks the conclusion of an educational journey and the
commencement of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s quest for a better
life and future.
ALREP: Truly, today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless
pursuit of knowledge and wisdom, knowledge that will enable a person to embrace
opportunities and take on challenges with clear vision and purpose.
DANREB: Jugaban National High School is beaming with pride as we present to you this year’s
graduation ceremony. Ladies and gentlemen, the processional. The candidates for graduation,
with their proud parents.
ALREP: The graduands from the Accountancy, Business, and Management Strand.
DANREB: Approaching the hall are the would-be graduates from the General Academic Strand.
ALREP: (NEXT TO PRINCESS IRLANDEZ) On stage are the graduates from the Humanities and
Social Sciences Strand.
DANREB: Approaching the hall are the would-be graduates from the Technical Vocational-
livelihood Track.
ALREP: (JOAN TOLOD) Ladies and gentlemen, the cream of the crop for school year 2023-2024
DANREB: The faculty and staff
ALREP: Guests and Guest of honor
DANREB: The school administrators
ALREP: At this point, everyone is requested to stand to pay respect and honor to our flags.
Ladies and gentlemen, behold the entrance of colors.
DANREB: To begin the ceremony, may we remain standing as we pay tribute, honor, and glory
to our Almighty God through an invocation. This will be led by Alyzza Anne Jane O. Rocha,
With High honors. It will be immediately followed by the singing of the Philippine National
Anthem to be conducted by Mr. Clent C. Obejera and this will be followed shortly by the
singing of the DepEd Leyte Hymn.
(After 3 mins guide to sit down)
ALREP: To set the tone for this afternoon’s event, let us put our hands together for Ira
Cazandra Q. Bermudo, with High Honors, to give the welcome address.
DANREB: And now, the main highlight of today’s affair is about to unfold in our midst. To do
the honors of presenting this year’s candidates for graduation, may we have on stage Mrs.
Chandy C. Dangate, Head Teacher III, Senior High School Department Head, to be followed
right away by the confirmation of the graduates by our school principal III, Anecita A. Empino,
(After ma’am Empino’s confirmation speech)

ALREP: Dear graduates, after years of hard work and dedication, it is about time to reward
your commitment towards education and reap the fruits of your labor. It is now time for the
Distribution of diploma and awarding of medals and certificates to the graduates with
distinction. May we request our school principal III, Dr. Anecita A. Empino, and Head Teacher
III, the SHS department head,Mrs. Chandy C. Dangate to do the honors. They will be assisted
by the class advisers. May I request all Grade 12 advisers to do the honor.
(DANREB: Once again, congratulations dear graduates!)
(Wait until the last student)
ALREP: Today’s affair is being graced by a special woman who, in a minute will deliver her
words of wisdom to our graduates and to all the people who are with us today. To introduce to
us our esteemed guest speaker, here is Mr. Ryan C. Bier, SST II of the Senior High School
Department.
Thank you, Ms. Eriika F. Hamtig, for that very inspiring message and for gracing this
momentous event.
(Graduates, you may now take your sit)
DANREB: To award the Certificate of Appreciation and hand in our simple gesture of gratitude
to our Guest Speaker, may we request Dr. Anecita A. Empino and Mrs. Chandy C. Dangate,
Head Teacher III, please.
ALREP: (to be omitted if Mayor is not around) Let us now listen to an inspirational message to
be given by our Municipal Mayor Hon. Eduardo C. Ong, Jr.
Thank you so much Hon. Eduardo C. Ong, Jr.
DANREB: At this moment, our school principal III, Dr. Anecita A. Empino will deliver her
graduation message. Let us give her a round of applause.
Thank you very much ma’am!
ALREP: To express this batch words of gratitude, here is Jayson M. Avila, with high honors.
ALREP: The pledge of Loyalty will be led by Ms. Lealyn M. Nival, with high honors. (Student will
remain standing)
DANREB: Ma’am Anecita A. Empino, School principal III will now turn over the graduates to the
community.
ALREP: At this point, let us welcome Hon. Pedro Royo, for his acceptance message.
Thank you, Hon. Pedro Royo.
DANREB: Let us hear the tribute to parents and teachers by Jashmine Kylle E. Morales, with
high honors.
ALREP: And now the time has come. As the graduates bid farewell, may they be able to
reminisce their senior high school life through a piece of musical composition. Let us listen to
the graduates as they sing their graduation song titled “We Won the Fight” by Leslyn Palad.
DANREB: Dear graduates, as you continue to traverse your journey. be strong and
courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord, your God, goes with you and He will
never leave you nor forsake you.
When life becomes difficult, always remember that grapes must be crushed to make a good
wine. Diamonds are formed under pressure. And seeds grow in darkness. So, whenever you
feel crushed, under pressure, pressed or in darkness, always remember that you’re growing,
you’re changing. Always trust the process. Congratulations once again and may the Good Lord
give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
ALREP: On behalf of Jugaban National High School. I would like to say thank you to all our
guests, the school administrators, faculty and staff and the parents who attended today’s
event. Thank you very much. To all the graduates, we wish you good luck, good health and
may God offer you heaps of blessings in the days ahead.

DANREB:
The closing hour has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges, and opportunities await our
graduates that will further test their mettle as improving individuals. As they continue with
their journey, may they look back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride. Ladies
and gentlemen, this concludes the 7th Commencement Exercises of Jugaban National High
School. This has been Danreb Teñoso and Perla Aculana, thank you for coming.
