Former Philippine President Corazon Aquino, in a speech to a joint session of
Congress that drew standing ovations. Aquino attended the United States for the

politicians wearing yellow ribbons expressing their solidarity with Aquino, she
delivered a speech before a joint session of the US Congress. She served as the
