➢ Yarn: 2mm cotton yarn

• Body: (tan/brown) Baby yarn 30/Catona 505

• Dress: brick red (Gazzal Baby Cotton 3454, light blue (Catona

173), dark blue (Gazzal Giza 2479)

• Hair: Cream (Baby Yarn 02/Catona 105)

➢ 8mm plastic eyes; 0.5mm button for the dress

➢ Black thread to embroider the eyebrows and eyelashes

➢ Sewing needle, some pins, scissors, fabric glue/hot glue gun

➢ Fiberfill for stuffing

➢ Soft wires and 5 cm plastic straw to insert into the neck and make the

head straight

➢ Finished product is 15 cm tall

Notes:

❖ This pattern is using US crochet terminology. Work in spiral rounds, do

not slip stitch unless stated. Crochet with tight stitches to make the doll
look nice and neat.
❖ For the doll body, I do yarn under to make x stitch, the stitches will be
neat and nice when stuffing.
❖ For the hair and dress, I do yarn over to make v stitch, it looks softer and
beautiful
❖ Do not stuff too tight.
❖ You can use any type of yarn with appropriate crochet hook size to create
different sizes using this pattern.

LET’S GET STARTED

EARS (make 2)

Rnd 1: 6sc into the MR (6)

Rnd 2: chain 1 and turn, 6sc (6)

Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing

ARMS (make 2)

Using skin color
Make 5 chain and start on the 2nd chain from the hook. To avoid the hole of the
sole, I crochet into the back bump (behind loop) of the foundation chain

Rnd 4: dec, 4 sc, 4 dec, 4 sc, dec 14

Stuff as long as you go
Rnd 5: 4 sc, 3 dec, 4 sc, 11
Rnd 6-11: 11 sc. Total 6 rounds 11
Rnd 12: 5 sc, inc, 5 sc 12
Rnd 13-18: 12 sc – total 6 rounds 12
Fasten off.
Stuff the legs because it will be harder to stuff when you crochet longer.
Right leg
Make the same as left leg 1 to the end of round 18
Change to the white color to make the underwear, crochet 5 single crochet
stitches. The last stitch of round 18 should be in the middle of the inside of the
leg. Chain 2 and join with the left leg at the first stitch of the new round. This
is also the beginning of the round.
In the next round, we join 2 legs together
Rnd 19: Join 2 legs together as follows: 12 sc on the right leg, 28
2 sc on the chain, 12 sc on the left leg, 2 sc on the chain.
Carefully count the number of stitches because stitch no.1
might be a bit tricky to see, you may forget to count this
stitch.
Rnd 20: 6 sc, inc, 13sc, inc, 7sc 30
Make sure that the increases are at the middle of the hips
Rnd 21: 30 sc 30
Rnd 22: (3sc, dec) * 6 times 24
Change to the skin color
Rnd 23: 24 sc 24
Rnd 24: (2 sc, dec) * 6 times 18
Rnd 25 – 28: 18 sc 18
In the next round, we will connect the arms to the body
Rnd 29: 6 sc on the back of body, 7 sc around the arm, 8 sc on 32
the front of body, 7sc around the arm, 4sc on the back of body.
This round has 32 sts: 18 sts from the body and 14 sts from

Insert the soft wire or plastic straw into the neck to make the head
straight
Tips: Place the plastic straw between the body and the head, 2/3 of the
straw in the body and 1/3 in the head. Stuff the body with fiberfill, do
not stuff the neck to avoid the neck being big and rough.
If you use safety eyes, insert the safety eyes between round 9-10 with 6
sts apart

Assembly

FACE (for not safety eyes, if you use safety eyes, follow the video tutorials

as links mentioned in the beginning)

- Embroider the eyelash on the round 9-11 as picture with 8 stitches

apart. Firstly, embroider 2 eyelashes, attach the eyes with 6 sts apart,

then embroider the third eyelash.

- Embroider the eyebrow on round 12-13 with 3 stitches wide

- Sew the nose between round 7-8 with 2 stitches apart by using skin

color yarn and sewing 3 times, then embroider around 6 times.

- Sew the ears to round 8-11 with 6 stitches apart between the eyes and

the ears

- Use white color yarn to embroider the whites of the eyes. Use light blue

yarn to embroider on the face, under the left eye.

- Use blush powder/acrylic paint to make up the doll’s cheeks.
