HAIRSTYLES FOR BOYS
Pre-KG to UKG: Hair should be kept short, neat, and well-groomed at all times. Hair
should not fall over the eyes or cover the ears.
Grades 1 to 12: Hair should be clean, neatly trimmed, and maintained in a simple and
disciplined style. The hair should not touch the collar and must be kept above the ears and
eyebrows.
The following are not permitted:
* Long hair or uneven cuts
* Trendy, fancy, or extreme hairstyles
* Spikes, undercuts, fades, designs, or patterns shaved into the hair
* Hair colouring, highlighting, bleaching, or use of hair gel/wax for styling
* Ponytails, buns, or similar hairstyles
Moustache and Beard
* Students are expected to maintain a clean-shaven appearance.
* Moustaches, beards, goatees, sideburns extending below the earlobe, and other facial hair
styles are not permitted.
* Students who have begun developing facial hair must shave regularly and maintain a neat
appearance.
Exceptions, if any, may be considered only on medical or religious grounds with prior
approval from the Principal.
HAIRSTYLES FOR GIRLS
Pre-KG to UKG: Hair should be neatly maintained and preferably kept short, up to ear
length. Students with longer hair must wear a black hairband to keep the hair away from the
face. If the hair extends beyond ear length, it should be neatly styled into one or two plaits.
Grades 1 to 12: Hair should be neatly parted in the middle and styled into one or two plaits.
The plaits must be secured with black hair ties or black ribbons to maintain a neat and
uniform appearance.
Students are permitted to use only simple black hair clips or pins as required. Fancy hair
accessories are not permitted.
STUDENT DRESS CODE
* Wearing the prescribed school uniform is mandatory. Students must maintain personal
hygiene and grooming at all times.
* Only the prescribed uniform and accessories are permitted on the school premises. Items
such as caps, hats, sunglasses, jeans, and other non-uniform attire are not allowed.
* All uniform items must be worn as prescribed by the school and should be clean, neat, and
well-maintained.
* Fancy hairstyles, hair colouring, nail polish, makeup, and eyeliner are not permitted.
Students must maintain a simple, neat, and disciplined appearance.
* Nails must be trimmed regularly and kept clean. Long or unkempt nails are not permitted.
* Tattoos, temporary tattoos, and other forms of body art are strictly prohibited.
* Body piercings are not permitted, except for girls, who may wear one pair of simple ear
studs. Hanging earrings and fancy ornaments are not allowed.
