🎤 SCOUTING OPENING PROGRAM SCRIPT

🎶 Opening Remarks

Jeric: A pleasant afternoon to everyone! To all our young Scouts, dear teachers, parents,
school heads, and guests — welcome to this much-awaited event, our Scouting Activity Day!

Catherine: It’s a joy to see our Scouts looking bright, active, and ready for another day of
learning, adventure, and service. Today, we celebrate what being a Scout truly means —
being prepared, being kind, and being a leader, even in the smallest ways.

Jeric: Scouting teaches us teamwork, responsibility, and love for God, others, and our country.
So as we begin, let’s open our hearts and show our Scout spirit throughout today’s program.

1. Entrance of Colors

Jeric: To formally open our program, we shall now have the Entrance of Colors, to be led by
our Junior Scouts.

(Pause until the flags are in place.)

Catherine: As the colors are brought forward, may we be reminded of the honor and duty
that every Scout carries — to protect, respect, and love our nation.

🎵 2. National Anthem

Catherine: Please all rise as we sing our National Anthem, to be led by Sctr. Imelda V.
Gamurot.

(After the anthem)

🙏 3. Prayer

Catherine: To start this day with grace and gratitude, let us all bow our heads for a prayer to
be led by Sctr. Elizabeth G. Valdez.

(Pause for prayer)

Jeric: Thank you, Sctr. Valdez. Indeed, with God’s guidance, every Scout’s action becomes
meaningful and blessed. You may now take your seat.

💡 4. Thought for the Day

Jeric: Each day is an opportunity to live the values of Scouting. To inspire us with a reflection
that we can carry throughout our activities, here’s our Thought for the Day, to be shared by
Sctr. Diana Mae L. Gonzales.

(After message)
Catherine: Thank you, Sctr. Gonzales, for that inspiring thought. Truly, a good Scout not only
acts but also thinks and leads with purpose.

📋 5. Roll Call

Catherine: And now, let’s proceed with our Roll Call, to be led by Sctr. Josephine R. Malonzo.

(Pause)

Jeric: Thank you, Sctr. Malonzo. It’s great to see everyone present and excited to take part in
today’s celebration.

👋 6. Greeting to the Scouts

Jeric: Of course, this gathering wouldn’t be complete without hearing words of

encouragement from one of our most supportive leaders.

Catherine: To officially greet our Scouts and share his warm message, let us welcome our
GPTA President, Mr. Dario F. Sagmit.

(Applause)

Jeric: Thank you, Sir Dario, for your inspiring words and for continuously supporting our
Scouting activities.

🤝 7. Rededication of the Scout Promise and Law

Catherine: At the heart of this gathering is a tradition that reminds us of who we are as
Scouts — the Rededication of the Scout Promise and Law.

Jeric: This moment allows each of us to renew our commitment to the values of honesty,
service, leadership, and faith.

Catherine: Leading the Twinklers is Sct. Jhasmine C. Domingo.

Jeric: For our Star Scouts, Sct. Sophia Dawn T. Caguitan.

Catherine: For the GSP Junior Scouts, Sct. Aicah Louise A. Serrano and Sct. Antonnete Iryl
Nyx T. Gemino.

Rededication of the Scout Oath and Law

Jeric: For the KID Scouts, we have Sct. Argie Ezekiel C. Ganapin,

Catherine: For the Kawan, Sct. Lonzo Ysmael J. Ramos and Sct. Freeman A. Bautista,

Jeric: For the Boy Scout, Sct. Axel G. Canibas and Sct. Dominick Joaquin C. Bagsic.

(Pause during the rededication ceremony)

Catherine: May this rededication remind us that being a Scout is not just a title — it’s a way
of life, lived every single day with courage and compassion.

🎶 8. Community Singing

Catherine: Now that our hearts are full of inspiration, it’s time to fill the air with cheerful
voices!

Jeric: Let’s all join in our Community Singing, as we celebrate unity and joy in Scouting, to be
led by Sctr. Melanie B. Merculio, and Sctr. Myla B. Sagmit.

9. Message

Catherine: Every scouting event becomes more meaningful when guided by words of
wisdom from our leader and mentor. Her dedication to education and youth development
inspires us to continue doing our best—not only as Scouts, but as responsible members of our
community. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, our dedicated principal, Dr. Jijit S.
Guzman.

Jeric: Thank you very much, Madam Jijit S. Guzman, for those inspiring and heartfelt words.
Now, to continue inspiring our Scouts, we have with us a leader who has been at the forefront
of educational excellence in our district, our District Supervisor – Dr. Marilou F. Santiago.

Catherine: Thank you so much Dr. Marilou F. Santiago.

📘 10. Orientation of Activities

Jeric: And now, to help us understand what lies ahead for this exciting day, we’ll hear the
Orientation of Activities from our school leaders.

Please welcome Sctr. Sheryll Lanie L. Gracia, our GSP School Leader, and Sctr. Neptali Valdez,
our BSP School Leader.

(Applause)

Catherine: Thank you, Sctr. Garcia and Sctr. Valdez, for guiding our Scouts.

🏁 Closing Remarks
Jeric: Every beginning deserves a proper close — and so, to give our Closing Remarks, let us
call on Sctr. Analiza D. Barriento, VECS Teacher Association President.

(Applause)

Thank you, Sctr. Barriento, for those heartfelt words.

🎯 Transition to Games

Jeric: And with that, our opening program has come to an end. But Scouts — don’t go
anywhere yet, because the fun part is just about to begin!

Catherine: Get ready for our Team Games for KID/Twinklers, KAB Scouts, and Star Scouts!
Let’s bring out that energy, teamwork, and Scout spirit!

Jeric: Remember — in Scouting, it’s not just about winning, it’s about cooperation, respect,
and doing your best.

Catherine: Absolutely! So give it your all, have fun, and make this day truly memorable.

Jeric: Once again, this has been Sctr. Jeric G. Pangilinan —

Catherine: — and Sctr. Catherine P. Lucas, your Masters of Ceremony!

Together: Thank you, everyone, and may we all live up to the spirit of Scouting — Always
prepared and ready to serve!.
