HOMEWORK ACTIVITY PATTERN

(ACTIVITY-BASED LEARNING MODEL)

Core Principle

Homework is NOT writing or memorization.


Homework is an activity that promotes thinking, creativity, and application.

Daily Homework Structure

Every lesson must have TWO ACTIVITY CATEGORIES:

Category A: Recreate & Express (Understanding)

Objective: Ensure the student has understood the concept.

• Rewrite the concept in their own words


• Present learning in a creative format

Formats: Mind map, Flowchart, Diagram, Story, Real-life example, Teaching others, Recording

Category B: Explore & Create (Application & Research)

Students must complete ALL of the following:

• 3 Application-Based Questions
• 2 Case-Based Questions
• 1 Puzzle / Riddle
• 5 Research Points

Teacher Guidelines

Before Giving Homework:


• Clearly define topic and expected output
• Avoid copying and direct Q&A;

Homework Announcement Format

Topic: ___________

Category A: Explain the topic creatively.


Category B: Complete all (3+2+1+5 structure).
