Read the Content:
• A map is a flat representation of the Earth or a part of it. It shows places, distances,
and directions, but sometimes the shape and size of land may be slightly distorted.
Maps are easier to carry and are used for navigation, planning, and studying
geography.
• A globe is a spherical model of the Earth. It shows the exact shape, size, and position
of continents, countries, and oceans. Globes are very accurate but less convenient to
carry or use for detailed navigation.
