Introduction
Student Management System is a web-based application developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML,
CSS and JavaScript for managing students, teachers, attendance and reports.

Objectives
To maintain student records, teacher records, attendance records, attendance reports and
role-based login management.

Software Requirements
XAMPP, PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Browser.

Hardware Requirements
Computer/Laptop, Minimum 4GB RAM, Dual Core Processor, 500MB Storage.

System Analysis
The system eliminates manual record keeping and provides centralized management of academic
information.

Modules
1. Login System 2. Dashboard 3. Student Management 4. Teacher Management 5. Attendance
Management 6. Attendance Report 7. PDF Report Generation 8. Settings Module

Database Design
Main tables: students, teachers, attendance, users.

Implementation
The application was implemented using PHP and MySQL with role-based access control.

Testing
Unit testing and functional testing were performed to verify data insertion, update, deletion and
report generation.

Future Scope
Email notifications, biometric attendance, mobile application integration and cloud deployment can
be added.

Conclusion
The Student Management System successfully automates student and attendance management
processes and improves efficiency.
