So I've been thinking:
Color doesn't actually exist, but it's just the way our brain interprets wavelengths.
So, what does the world actually look like?
Then, it spiraled into something else.
We can feel that the wall is there because we can observe it, and because our brain creates a sense
of “feeling it”.
If we weren't there to observe or register all of this, none of this would exist..
An uncountable number of creatures see the world as colorful, alive and vast..
But what if there was no one to observe the universe?
Would that universe be anything but a meaningless void, with nothing empty, unobserved objects?
If there is no one to register the existence of those objects (by feeling or seeing them) do these
objects even exist?
In any meaningful, practical, and existential self - no.
Those objects cannot observe or feel themselves, so they would not be able to register their own
existence without those who observe it.
The universe cannot observe its own existence. Therefore, the universe does not exist without the
observers.
For those who did not understand the text entirely:
Observe the wall near you and touch it. Now walk away and close your eyes.
If you fully forgot its initial position, and lost all sense of feeling - would you be aware of the wall’s
existence?
The wall can't know whether or not it exists. It doesn't exist for itself. It cannot exist without us.
And if we strip away our universe from all of its meaning, from all of its observers, and from the fact
that the observers hold everything that is happening in their memory -
what would the universe be?
Who would be there to say that existence isn't just a meaningless void?
Who would be there to say that anything exists?
If our brains interpreted light as coordinates it travelled overall instead of using it for direct
visualization -
the reality would be abstract coordinates in an empty world.
we would've been living in a coordinate space, and not a metric space.
What if your sense of touch was slightly misused due to your brain function - shaping everything you
touch slightly?
Then, that shape would be real.
After all, the sense of touch only exists within your body’s mechanisms. How you decide to perceive
the world is ultimately how the world is.
Do you disagree?
And how would you know it?
Your sense of touch is a mechanism entirely within your body, and your vision is uncontrolled by you.
Everything you perceive about this world is unverifiable to be true or [Link]
Your brain could turn your sofa into a planet that you can destroy -
( as long as it uses the correct electrical signals for your neural system)
you would not be able to tell if it did that.
But it's our reality regardless.
We exist in a 3 spatial, 1 temporal dimensional metric system only because we observe it to be that
way.
You wouldn't be able to change the reality of someone who observes it a different way.
With enough perceptional change via our brain's function, we could very well exist in any type of reality.
Be it a coordinate space, that is abstract with only coordinates being objective
or a topological space where you can experience connectedness and continuous shapes without any
notion of rigid distance.
no speed limits, no fixed sizes.
anything.
but without us - it's nothing.
and it's not even nothing, because we observe nothing to be nothing.
One of my 'what if's' or 'hypothyses' is that idiosyncrasy is an inherent property of our universe.
Now, it is absolutely not verifiable whether reality itself is inherently intersubjective, idiosyncratic and
solipsistic or it's just our reality (universe) being an idiosyncratic universe - an intersubjective universe.
In such a universe, no single mathematical formula applies -
and the formulas we make work because the universe itself is intersubjectivistic.
Now, this would explain why everyone thinks
"Everything about the universe is very precise, almost as if it's been created by a mathematician."
or
"if anything was a fraction of a percent different - everything would collapse"
but this is, and will always remain completely unverifiable.
