insights aimed at answering the research questions. The main tool utilized was online survey
questionnaires, strategically placed on Best Buy's official website, as well as disseminated
through social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter. This approach ensured a wide
reach and efficient data collection. For face-to-face interactions, paper copies of the survey were
administered, and responses were meticulously collected and organized. The results obtained
from the online surveys were downloaded into a CSV file, facilitating comprehensive data
analysis.
In-depth interviews were conducted to delve deeper into specific aspects of customer
preferences and experiences. These interviews were conducted face-to-face, providing a platform
for participants to express nuanced insights. Responses from these interviews were recorded and
transcribed for thorough analysis. Focus groups were organized, bringing together diverse
participants to engage in open dialogue and exploration of intricate aspects related to the research
questions. During these sessions, audio recordings were made, and detailed notes were taken to
capture the essence of the discussions.
Observational data collection involved keenly observing consumer behavior within Best
Buy stores. This non-intrusive approach aimed to understand how store ambiance and layout
influenced the decision-making processes of customers. Detailed observational notes were

efficient approach to data collection. Simultaneously, random sampling was employed to
introduce an element of randomness and ensure a diverse representation within the sample.
The sample size aimed for in this project was a minimum of 300 responses. This size was
chosen to ensure statistical significance and reliability in the gathered data, considering the
complexity of the research questions and the need for a robust dataset. Although the project's
goal was to collect at least 50 responses, the decision to exceed this number was driven by the
desire for a more comprehensive and representative sample. A larger sample size enhances the
generalizability of the findings and provides a more accurate reflection of the broader population
of Best Buy customers.
Throughout the data collection process, the research team actively worked to meet and
surpass the target sample size. Any challenges faced in achieving this goal were promptly
addressed to maintain the integrity and reliability of the research findings.
