Daily 15-Minute Home Stretching Routine
A flexible body is a healthy body. This full-body stretching routine helps improve mobility, alleviate
muscle tightness from sitting, and promote relaxation. No equipment required.
Phase 1: Warm-up (3 Minutes)
Perform light gentle movements before holding deep stretches to get blood flowing to the muscle tissue.
• Neck Rolls: Drop your chin to your chest, slowly rotate your head clockwise for 5 circles, then
counter-clockwise for 5 circles.
• Shoulder Shrugs: Roll your shoulders backward in a smooth motion 10 times, then forward 10 times.
Phase 2: Core Mobility Stretches (7 Minutes)
1. Child's Pose (Hold for 60 seconds)
Kneel on the floor with your toes touching and knees wide apart. Sit your hips back onto your heels, fold
forward, and extend your arms flat on the floor in front of you. Lower your forehead to the mat.
2. Cat-Cow Stretch (Repeat for 60 seconds)
Start on your hands and knees in a tabletop position. Inhale as you drop your belly, lift your chest and
tailbone towards the ceiling (Cow). Exhale as you arch your spine upward, tucking your chin to your
chest (Cat).
Phase 3: Lower Body & Cool-down (5 Minutes)
3. Seated Hamstring Stretch (Hold for 45 seconds per side)
Sit on the floor with one leg straight out and the opposite foot tucked into your inner thigh. Hinge at your
hips and reach forward toward your ankle or toes, keeping your spine elongated.
4. Deep Breathing Deep Relaxation (60 seconds)
Lie flat on your back with your eyes closed. Place one hand on your stomach and one on your chest.
Take slow, deep breaths through your nose, expanding your stomach, and exhale slowly through your
mouth.
