Course Description:
C Programming course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of computer programming
using the C language. It covers essential programming concepts, including data types, control structures,
functions, arrays, pointers, and memory management. By the end of the course, students will have a deep
understanding of C programming techniques, along with the ability to write efficient, well-structured, and
error-free code. The course emphasizes both theoretical concepts and hands-on coding, providing students
with practical experience in problem-solving and software development. Topics include variable types,
conditionals statements, loops, arrays, dynamic memory allocation, file handling, and advanced topics such
as pointers. The course also explores the role of C in systems programming and embedded systems,
highlighting its efficiency and low-level control
Course Objective:
The course aims to empower students with the technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities required
for advanced studies and professional practice in software development.
1. Understand and utilize primitive and derived data types in C.
2. Develop proficiency in loop structures like for, while, and do-while to handle iterative tasks.
3. Understand how arrays can be used for efficient data storage and retrieval.
4. Develop skills in writing modular code using functions.
5. Learn how pointers enhance dynamic memory allocation and enable efficient data manipulation.
6. To apply structures and unions for organizing data and file management techniques to
ensure data integrity.
7. Understand file handling in C by learning how to open, read, write, and close files.
