say the action, e.g. watch TV. Prompt the pupil to do
the same with two more actions. Then point to one of
the times of day in the top row and say the phrase, e.g.
in the afternoon. Prompt the pupil to do the same with
two more phrases for the time of day. (1 point for each
answer. Total: 4 points)
Sentences
Point to an action in the left-hand column and then to
a time of day in the top row. Say the action and time of
day in a sentence, e.g. I have a snack in the afternoon.
Give the pupil a minute to look at the table and add
ticks in the appropriate box to indicate when they do
the action. Say another example sentence, e.g. I drink
water in the morning and in the evening. Prompt the
pupil to do the same and say three sentences in total.

Questions
Have pupils work in pairs (or you can play the role of

using the actions and times of the day in the table,
