PRACTICE SCRIPT
Riyan:
Did you know that 700 million people worldwide face starvation, dreaming of just one proper
meal? What if we could help solve this problem?
Johann: 1
Today we are here to present our innovative solution for smart farming. Our project name is
“Robofarm, adapting technology for smarter farming
Together: “We are the future Innovators”
Johann: 2
My name is Johann Joe Shani, the Coder and Designer of this project
Riyan:
I am Riyan Pansare, the Builder and Brainstormer behind this project.
Together We Save Lives
Riyan:
Problem Statement:
● Did you know that about 9 Million people die each year from hunger and hunger related
causes?
● Nearly 720 Million people worldwide do not have enough food to eat and over 43 million
children are hungry and in need of help.
● One major reason is that an estimated 30–40% of crops worldwide are lost before
reaching stores due to worker shortages, causing food to spoil during harvesting and
distribution.
Johann: 3
EFFECTS
The effects of this are:
● Food shortage.
● Millions of people suffer from hunger.
● Increased poverty.
● Communities become weaker.
● People suffer from malnutrition and several related diseases.
Riyan:
CHALLENGES
The main reasons for shortage of foods is due to the challenges we face in farming such as:
● Not enough workers to harvest fruits on time.
● Crops get damaged during sorting, handling, or transport.
● Bad weather can harm crops and change harvest times.
● Small farms lack automated tools for picking or sorting.
● Poor storage and transport can spoil crops before they reach the market.

PROJECT BREAKDOWN
To address these challenges, we have developed some innovative solutions to make farming
more efficient using AI technologies. The key components we use in our project include:
● GrabZ Walking Robot
● SpectraSort Robot
● AquaSense
● Security AI Camera to detect crops and humans
● Smart Gate Barrier System
● AI Traffic Light System
● LED Smart Street Lamp
Riyan:
The tools that we have used in this project are:
● LEGO SPIKE Prime Kit
● AI Camera (HuskyLens)
● NodeMCU
● Arduino Uno
● Ultrasonic Sensor
● Servo Motor
● LED Traffic Light
● LED Street Light
● Soil Sensor
● Water Pump
● Breadboard

Let me explain how our innovative solutions support smart farming.
Our first innovative solution is “GrabZ Walking Robot,” which is an autonomous robot that
detects ripe fruits, picks them carefully, and places them in the right spot, making farming
faster, easier, and more efficient.
Let me show you the working model
Riyan:
Our second innovative solution “SpectraSort,” which is an autonomous fruit-sorting robot that
identifies colors and efficiently separates fruits, making the sorting process faster, easier, and
more accurate.
Let me show you the working demo
Johann: 6
Our third innovative solution is an AI CAMERA (Husky Lens) that monitors the entire farm,
informs the robots about farming plans, and also works as a security camera by detecting
unauthorized access. It can identify different human faces and crops.
Here’s the working demo
Riyan:
Our 4th innovative solution is a Smart Irrigation System (AQUASENSE) that we will be using in our
farm.
AquaSense is a smart bot that senses the soil and automatically waters plants when needed,
keeping them healthy and growing every day.
Let me show you how it works!

Let me explain the cost and profit associated with this project.
● The initial investment (CAPEX) for setting up RoboFarm ranges between USD 125,000
and 140,000. This is the cost for robots, sensors, connectivity, AI cameras, automation
infrastructure, and software setup.
● The annual operating cost (OPEX) is approximately USD 14,000 to 15,000. This is the cost
for software, connectivity, and maintenance.
● Without RoboFarm, the farm generates an annual profit of around USD 70,000.
● Implementing RoboFarm reduces labor costs, saves water and fertilizer, minimizes crop
losses, and increases yields, resulting in an additional annual net profit of USD 92,000.
● This raises the farm’s annual profit to about USD 162,000, with a payback period of
around 1.3 years, making RoboFarm a fast and profitable investment.
Riyan:
So, let’s take a look at who our customers are and the market strategy we use!
● We focus on farms facing labor shortages, crop wastage, and climate-related challenges,
particularly large-scale farms and agri-tech early adopters.
● To reach these customers effectively, we collaborate with farm equipment companies,
and government programs.
● At the same time, we use online marketplaces and agri-tech platforms to connect with
smaller farms, improving our visibility and accessibility across the market.
Johann:8
Our innovative solution helps to
● Save time, money, and labor.
● Operates fully without humans.
● Produces food faster, helping fight world hunger.
● Ensures efficient, consistent, and high-quality farming all year.
Riyan:
Our Future goal is to
● Make GrabZ pick all types of crops on large farms.
● Upgrade SpectraSort to sort crops by size, and different types of crops.
● Use AI cameras to identify pests, crop diseases, and problems.
● Connect all devices with smart sensors and IoT for real-time farm monitoring.
Johann: 9
Robotics combined with agriculture is the future of farming. Sustainable farming can fight
climate change and end hunger!
