Delt
A delta is a triangular shaped landform [fan shaped landform]
formed by erosion and deposition of water when a river meets a
body of water [sea/lake/ocean/still water].
EROSION OF DELTA
When river moves it carries sediments [soil/mud/rocks/silt] along
which causes water erosion.
DEPOSITION OF DELTA
When river meets body of water. The speed of the river
decreases and sediments lay down because of plants. The plants
roots trap sediments forming delta and the plants decrease the
speed of the water flowing of the river.
