Grade 6 Project: Favourite Games

Mathematics - Data Handling (AI-Integrated Project)

Part A: Topic Selection (Page 3)

Mark your choice as "Favourite Games" on your project sheet. Use these
categories for your survey:

• Roblox
• Minecraft
• Football (FIFA / FC 24)
• Fortnite
• Other

Part B: Data Collection (Page 3)

You need to ask 20 different people. Use tally marks to keep track. Here is an
example of a completed table:

Game Name Tally Marks Frequency (Total)

Roblox //// / 6

Minecraft //// 4

Football //// // 7

Fortnite // 2

Other / 1
Part C: Graph Representation (Page 4)

On Page 4, draw a Bar Graph. Use these rules to make it look professional:

• Bottom Line: Write the names of the games clearly.

• Side Line: Write numbers starting from 0 up to 10.
• Title: Give your graph a name, like "Our Class's Favourite Games".

Part D: Interpretation (Page 5)

Look at your finished graph and answer the questions on Page 5. Here are
example answers:

1. Highest Value: Football (it had 7 votes).

2. Lowest Value: Other (it only had 1 vote).
3. Conclusion: Most students like sports games more than building games.
4. Observation: I was surprised that Minecraft is still popular with my
friends.

Part E: AI Reflection (Page 5)

This section is compulsory for your grade.

• How AI helped: The AI helped me organize my survey into categories and

explained how to set up my graph properly.
• Work without AI: I did the actual survey by talking to 20 people and I
drew the graph in my booklet myself.
• What I learned: I learned that graphs make it much easier to see which
things are the most popular in a group.

Final Step: Submit the booklet at school and upload the scan to Teams by May 5th.
