the laundry, washing the dishes, cleaning the house, and taking care of
others are among the important skills that we will need when we grow
up. Secondly, doing chores teaches us to take responsibility. We learn
that we have to try to finish the tasks even though we do not enjoy doing
it. Last but not least, doing housework helps strengthen family bonds. It
creates special moments between members of the family.
In conclusion, doing housework can bring a lot of benefits to
all of us. It help us learning life skills, taking responsibility and

2. Your family routines
Hello Mrs. Ha, our dear English teacher. Today, I would like
to tell you about my family routines. Here are three main ones.
First, we have breakfast together every morning. We have
bread or noodles and each member shares their plans for the day.
Second, we watch TV together every Saturday evening. We watch a film
and share snacks. We also exchange opinions about the film. Third, we
visit our grandparents on the second Sunday of the month. We do
housework for them and have lunch with them.
In short, having breakfast, watching TV together and
visiting grandparents are some of my family routines. Thank you for
listening.
TOPIC 3 Family value
Hello Mrs. Ha, my name is…. And today I will talk about
Vietnamese family value.
Vietnam has many values in every family that I really appreciate. Firstly,
it’s Vietnamese ancestor worship, which is a really respectful act, the
expression of the spirit not forgetting the roots, which is also an
obligation of all human beings. Secondly, pay respect to the seniors in
the family , in traditional Vietnamese family culture, people are taught to
give the seniors, especially in their families, absolute respect. Finally,
family members stay in harmony and supportive. In Vietnam, not only
children but also adults see home as the most peaceful place to return
after a hard day, we support each other in any situation. All of these are
what I really like about Vietnamese family values
TOPIC 4 Protect environment
Hello Mrs. Ha, my name is_______ I’d like to tell you
about some solutions that I believe it may helps the environment.
Nowadays, the environment is being polluted so there should be some
simple solutions for this problem. The first thing is that we can give
more lessons about protecting the environment into schools, in this way,
students are able to learn and understand that they need to help the
environment. Next, we shouldn’t throw rubbish in public but bring the
trash to a trash can and throw it at the right place. Although it’s just a
small act but it helps our world a lot. Finally, we can use more public
transports like bus, bicycle,… to reduce smoke to the atmosphere. That’s
all simple ways that I’d like to mention to help improve even a little bit
for our environment
TOPIC 5: Talking about a music show
One of my favourite TV music shows is The Voice, which is a reality
singing competition that features four celebrity coaches who select and
mentor singers from different genres. The aim of the show is to find the
best vocal talent and crown them as the winner of the season. I watch
The Voice every week, usually on Monday and Tuesday nights, when it
airs on NBC. I watch it with my family or friends, because we enjoy
discussing the performances, the coaches' comments, and the results.
Sometimes, we also vote for our favourite singers online or by phone. I
think the show is entertaining, inspiring, and exciting. The only thing I
dislike about the show is that sometimes the voting results are
unpredictable or unfair, and some of the singers I like get eliminated too
soon.
TOPIC 6: Do you want to go to a music fesival? Why or why not?
Yes, i do. Maybe you dont know im a big fan of US - UK, so going to a
music festival of them is my biggest [Link] main reason people
decide to come to a music fes is music. It can be a great opportunity to
see and hear my favorite artists performing their songs in real life. a
music festival is still full of thousand people who have the same interest
as me and are always ready to share their experience with me. That is a
nice way to meet and create friendships with people having different
nationalities and personalities. For me, the food might be a strange
reason to visit a music fes, but here we can find the most delicious food
vendors such as: snacks, chicken, or pizza,... Moreover, the music
festival will provide me with positive energy after hard-working hours.
All in all, going to a music festival can be an unforgettable experience in
my life.
TOPIC 7: What do you know about Chau van singing
As far as I know Chau van singing is an ancient form of Vienamese
performance art which combines singing and dancing. It started in the
Northern Delta region of Viet Nam around the 16th century, and later
spread to all parts of the country. It is used to praise gods or national
heroes. Morover, there are several types of Chau van singing. One
typical type is hat tho or worship singing- the slow chanting including
an act of worship. Other type is hat hau - the singing and dancing of a
psychic. From my observation, the main musical instruments used in
Chau van performance are the moon – shaped lute, bamboo clappers,
drum, and gong. In addition, it is known that the costumes of Chau van
performers are very important. The style of clothes, hats, and belts relies
on the rank of the gods or saints the performers worship. It has changed
over time, but the rules abut the colors have stayed the same. In
conclusion, as a form of traditional performance art, Chau van singing
was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam

TOPIC 8: Talking about the benefits you gain when you do the
voluntary work?
Volunteer work gives me many benefits. First of all, it helps me improve
essential life skills like management skills or communation skills.
Second, volunteering increases socialization, helps me meet new people,
which can make me feel more connected and valued, decreases
loneliness, and opens us up to awareness of how other people live.
Besides, volunteering helps me feel like as a part of community and feel
better about myself by improving your self-esteem and
[Link]’s more, doing volunteer work helps teenagers find a
sense of achievement and purpose in life. Last but not least, it gets me
out of your comfort zone through volunteer work, I may overcome the
personal challenges of leaving my comfort zone and doing something

TOPIC 9&10 SPEAKING:
9. What do you think you can do to help people in your community?
The rising prevalence of uplifting community among the people has
led some to question how help people in our community should be
carried out. To clear up queries, I would say that there are lots of ways to
help our community. Firstly, get involved as a volunteer.
Volunteered at a food bank - to be fair, this was a company wide thing,
but I was there and enjoyed helping. Secondly, clean up our
neighborhood. By picking up trash and doing some yard work, we can
make our area a more pleasant place to live. Periodically take items to
the homeless like donating things. Consider donating unwanted clothing,
jewelry, media, books, and homeware to charity shops. It's possible to
preserve the environment in addition to helping those in need in our
community.
10. How useful are laptops?
With the ubiquity of laptops in this digital era, some are concerned
whether or not laptops are useful. While there exist varying drawbacks, I
believe that these benefits are outweighed by the negatives. First of all,
laptops allow people to have more efficient note taking. Taking notes by
hand can be time-consuming and taxing on your hand. By using laptops,
they can type their notes directly into a document. In addition, laptops
bring accessibility and connectivity to users.
This accessibility allows students to study whenever they have the time -
- no matter where they are. Laptops offer more programs and options,
which permit to organize and increase capacity of the work.
Unfortunately, this is impossible with a simple pen and a piece of paper.
Laptops are more useful and realistic in the modern world.
