RULES & REGULATIONS
Team & Roster
Format: 5v5 Men’s Full-Court.
Roster Limit: Maximum 12 players per team.
Uniforms: Matching jerseys with unique numbers are
required.
Game Structure
Duration: 4 quarters of 10 minutes each.
Clock: Running time; clock only stops for time-outs and
the final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter.
Ruleset: All gameplay follows standard FIBA regulations
(including 24-second shot clock and foul limits).
League Phase: Round Robin
Pools: 2 pools of 3 teams each.
Format: Every team plays every other team within their
designated pool once.
Points: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a loss, 0 for a forfeit.
Playoffs & Advancement
Qualification: The top 2 teams from each pool advance
to the knockout stage.
Tie-Breakers: If teams are level on points, rank is
determined by:
Head-to-head result.
Point differential.
Total points scored.

10 v 10Football Tournament Rules
1. TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament will be played in a 10 vs 10 format.
Each team must have: 10 players on the field & Up to 5 substitute players
Minimum players required to start a match: 7 players
Tournament format:
Group Stage + Knockout Stage
2. MATCH DURATION
Each match will consist of: 15 minutes each half & 5-minute halftime
break
Knockout matches: If tied → Direct Penalty Shootout (or extra time if
organizers want)

Group Stage
* Win = 3 points
* Draw = 1 point
* Loss = 0 points
Tie-breakers
If two teams have equal points:
1. Goal Difference
2. Goals Scored
4. SUBSTITUTION RULES
* Rolling substitutions are allowed.
* Substituted players may re-enter the match.
* Substitutions must happen only with referee permission.
5. Discipline & Fair Play
Yellow Card
* Warning for misconduct.
Red Card
* Player sent off immediately.
* Team plays with one player less for the remainder of the match.
* Serious misconduct may lead to suspension from future matches.
Unsporting Behaviour
* Arguing with referees
* Fighting
* Abusive language
* Intentional foul play

* Team disqualification
6. PENALTY SHOOTOUT RULES
* 3 penalties per team initially.
* If tied → Sudden death penalties.
7. WALKOVER RULE
* Teams must report 15 minutes before kickoff.
* A delay of more than 10 minutes after scheduled kickoff may result in
walkover.
* Walkover score: 3–0
8. EQUIPMENT RULES
* Teams should wear similar colored jerseys/bibs.
* Shin guards are recommended.
9. REFEREE’S DECISION
* Referee’s decision is final.
* Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if necessary.

A player/pair failing to report on time will result in a walkover.

Each player should bring their own boards for the game. No boards will be allowed from the
Organizing team.

The Arbiter’s decision will be final and binding.
Only registered participants are allowed to play. No substitution is permitted after
registration.
Teams/players should maintain discipline and sportsmanship throughout the event.
All the players are informed to download the chess clock app on their phones.
Details regarding the date, time, venue, schedule of the event will be announced shortly.
The teams should submit a specific board order. The same board order will be followed
all throughout the tournament and cannot be changed in the middle of the tournament.
The fixtures and group division will be shared later in the group.
