Characteristics of software.
-Usability : The ease with which a software can be used .

-Portability : A ease with which a software can be transfer

from one computer to another .

-Reusability : The ease with which a software can be use.

-Maintainability :The ease with which a software can be

modify so as to satisfy new requirements .

-Security : The ease with which a software can protect its

data against viruses .


-Reliability : The ease with which a software does not fail to

perform normal circumstances .

-Completeness : All parts of a software must be fully develop .

-Corrections : A means to know whether a software needs its

requirements. The techniques use to know whether a

software need it requirements is called software evaluation.

-Conciseness : A software should posess minimum number of

statements (straight to the point).

-Testability : The ease with which a software can be tested

and evaluated .

-Stability : The ability of a software to maintain a fixed level

of operations .

Software :They are define as the non physical part of the

computer. They enable the computer to function. Therefore

without softwares, the computer system is useless .
