MODULE 3 – PREPARATION STAGE

1. Write an essay explaining your risk stratification and the exercise

intensity that fits your classification.

- I used to only worry about eating and didn't give a thought to how my
body was doing. The state of my body and how I kept it in good shape
didn't concern me. I had never wanted to try working out since I always
thought it was exhausting. I was thin till I put on weight and became obese.
For the sake of my physical and emotional well-being, I had the idea that I
should attempt to work out. I exercised for three months, and I was able to
see my body becoming better. My relatives started body-shaming me as
my body became incredibly thin. I was given a depression diagnosis as a
result of some painful statements that I overheard. As a result, I always
worry about what other people will think of me, which causes me to talk to
myself in the mirror and take my time choosing outfits that go with the
latest fashions. At first, it was challenging, but now that I'm making
progress, I can see how I've improved. Exercise is one of the factors
contributing to my improvement. Exercising keeps me at ease and
improves my physical condition. I believe my degree of exercise intensity,
which is considered to be moderate, is level 3.

a. Weight in kilogram
b. Height in meter
c. Body mass index = weight in kg divided by the square of the
