Genuine Student (GS) Statement
1. Current Circumstances (Family, Financial & Background)
I am a Nepalese student from a supportive and well-established family.
My father is a retired Indian Army personnel, and my mother manages
our family business, BD Fashion Collection. Growing up in this
environment, I developed discipline, responsibility, and a strong
motivation to build a professional career.I completed my Grade XII in
2025 in the Management stream with Computer Science, which
developed my interest in data, business, and technology. To meet
English language requirements, I took the PTE examination on 24 July
2025 and achieved an overall score of 58. My education will be
supported through family income, property assets, and an approved
education loan. My family has an annual income equivalent to AUD
21,789.22, owns property valued at approximately AUD 119,641.17,
and has secured an education loan of AUD 58,823.52. These resources
are sufficient to cover my tuition fees and living expenses.
I have strong ties to Nepal. As a single child, I have long-term responsibilities
toward my parents and our family business. My future is closely connected to
my home country, which motivates my return after completing my studies.
2. Why Not Study in Nepal
Although Nepal offers business and IT-related programs, there are limitations
in specialized fields such as data analytics. Most courses are theoretical and
lack practical exposure to modern analytical tools, real-world datasets, and
industry-based training.
There is also limited collaboration between academic institutions and
industries, which restricts hands-on learning. Advanced topics like data
visualization, business intelligence, and applied analytics are not sufficiently
covered. Therefore, studying abroad is necessary for me to gain industry-
relevant skills and practical knowledge that are currently limited in Nepal.
3. Why Australia and Analytics Institute of Australia (AIA)
Australia is globally recognized for its high-quality education system,
practical teaching approach, and supportive environment for international
students. Its focus on real-world skills and academic standards makes it an
ideal destination for my studies.
I have chosen the Analytics Institute of Australia (AIA) because its Bachelor
of Analytics program aligns with my academic background and career goals.
The course includes key areas such as data analysis, programming, and
business intelligence. Its practical learning approach and industry-focused
curriculum will help me develop the technical and analytical skills required in
today’s job market.
4. Value of the Course to My Future
The Bachelor of Analytics will equip me with skills in data interpretation,
problem-solving, and business decision-making, which are increasingly in
demand in Nepal. Sectors such as banking, telecommunications, and
corporate businesses are adopting data-driven systems, creating
opportunities for skilled professionals.
Based on current market trends, entry-level data analysts in Nepal typically
earn NPR 5–8 lakhs annually, while experienced professionals can earn NPR
10–15 lakhs or more. After completing my studies, I plan to return to Nepal
and begin my career in entry-level roles such as Data Analyst or Business
Analyst. With experience, I aim to progress into senior positions.
In the long term, I intend to apply my knowledge to support and expand our
family business by using data-driven strategies to improve efficiency and
growth. This demonstrates the clear value and practical application of my
studies.
5. Genuine Intentions and Compliance
My sole intention is to obtain a quality international education that is not
currently available in Nepal at the same level. I understand the conditions of
the student visa and am committed to complying with all regulations.
I do not have any history of visa refusal or immigration violations. My study
plan is consistent with my academic background and long-term career goals
in Nepal.
6. Conclusion
My decision to study in Australia is based on genuine academic and career
objectives. The chosen course is directly relevant to my future plans and will
provide me with the necessary skills to build a successful career in Nepal.
With strong family ties, clear career direction, and a well-defined purpose, I
am a genuine student who intends to return home after completing my
studies and contribute to my country’s growing data sector.
