Hello! I’m milk, and this is my first ever
crochet pattern.
I won’t bore you with a cooking recipe length introduction, just a couple
things to say about this pattern.
This pattern works with fluffy yarns such as “Feels Like Bliss”.
There are some gaps that are well disguised by the fur, but would
show in regular yarn. If you do use regular yarn, you will likely be
sewing closed some of the stitches in the hat.
The hook size changes frequently, pay close attention to the
beginning of each new part. I use yarn under/yarn over to keep my
stitches tight.
If you haven’t worked with this yarn before, I recommend doing
your first edition in light colors like white, pink, and lavender. It is
much easier to see the stitches on these lighter color yarns.

Please read through the entire pattern before starting, and make
each piece in order! This pattern is worked in rounds without
joining.

“Feels like bliss” yarn by Lion

Brand: aprox. 18g of white and 60g
of body color(s)
Scissors
Darning needle
Stitch markers Invisible Color
Poly-fil changes
Optional:
CC - in last st before color
Smaller hook for weaving tails
change, have loops on
Pastels/Makeup for blush
hook, yarn over and pull
Abbreviations new color through 2-3
FLO - front loop only loops to finish st instead.
BLO - back loop only
CC - invisible color change
HDC - half double crochet
SC - single crochet
INC - increase
DEC - decrease
ST - stitch/stitches
ch - chain
slst - slip stitch
mr - magic ring
rnd - round SLST CH START
FO - fasten off with slst
With slipknot on hook,
( )x - Work instructions in brackets
put hook in start ST

 3.75mm Body 4.5mm Neck piece
Round 1 we will be attaching the rnd 1. FLO, (3 HDC, INC) x3
legs together. Begin your round in (15)
the 1st leg, then start in the next
unworked ST on the 2nd leg.
NECK CONT. Points x5
rnd 1. Starting in first leg, 6 HDC, Don't cut your CC too short,
then 6 HDC around 2nd leg (12) they will stay in the body
rnd 2. (2 HDC, DEC)x3 (9) better with tails.
rnd 3.-7. HDC around (9) (5 times) ch 2's count as a HDC,
We are attaching the arms with meaning you will work into
3 HDC each in this rnd. Varying them as one.

We will be attaching the body

CC to body color, 3.75mm of the folded body rnd 8, then
hook, we are going left pull the st through the back loop

STUFF and eyes now → about 7 st apart, and nose in

STUFFING TIP
For stuffing, fold the first
point into your hand, and try
to only stuff the base/ball of
the head. Stuffing the points
will make them stick out
funny.

it’s hard to add more later but
easy to shape it after. If your
holes in the triangle are
showing from over-stuffing,
don’t worry. Shaping should
resolve any issues, if not, you
can always sew them closed

 Finishing touches
Stabilizing Neck
Using your darning needle, take the
body tail and ST between the
neckpiece and body. I keep it pretty
close to the outside of his head, and
the base of the neckpiece points.

Make sure this makeup and brush
does NOT touch your face again, it
will become crochet only product.
Lift the edges of his hat around his
face and gently pat on sides of eye.

Weaving ends
Using a 3.5mm hook, I tug the yarn
ends from the hat point back inside
the hat. I weave the neckpiece point
ends through the balls 3 times thumb lifting edge of
before cutting short. hat for blush

Give it a rumple!
After all that crocheting we did on the
second hat point, it will likely be a bit
misshapen!
Squish around the hat points down,
push his face in, and try to get the
stuffing settled into a ball head-
shape.
Shake him hard to rid him of all the
hook pulling hat
fuzzies from snipping yarn ends.
