Welcome, this is a guide to Adobe Photoshop’s adjustments.

Hue/Saturation
Hue and Saturation is used to modify the colors in an image. Hue is the actual color while
Saturation is for adjusting the intensity or purity of the color.

Levels
Levels are used for adjusting the intensity of image shadows, midtones, and highlights.

Curves
Curves are used for adjusting highlights by making them darker or lighter, adjusting midtones,
and adjusting shadows by either lightening or darkening them.

Exposure
Exposure makes the image lighter or darker.

Vibrance
Vibrance targets the less saturated colors while leaving already saturated colors untouched.

Brightness/Contrast
Brightness allows to adjust the light in the image, while contrast will allow to expand the tonal
values in the image.

Color Balance
Color Balance allows to adjust the overall intensities of complementary colors.

Black & White


Black and White will make your image lose its colors through desaturation and make it purely
from black and white.

Photofilter
Photofilter allows you to apply a color filter to the image with multiple options to choose from.
Channel Mixer
Channel mixer allows you to change the brightness, contrast, and saturation of individual color
channels.

Color Lookup
Color Lookup lets you apply color grading effects to the image.

Invert
Invert flips the colors of an image, changing the colors to opposite of what they would be.

Posterize
Posterize will reduce the amount of colors within the image.

Threshold
Threshold changes pixels lighter than the set threshold will turn white, while pixels darker than
the set threshold will turn black.

Selective Color
Selective color allows you to change colors of specific areas in the image.

Gradient Map
Gradient map helps with color correction and image manipulation through remapping the tones
of an image.
