(APPLICATION PROGRAMMER)
I am writing to apply for the position of ICT Officer II (Application Programmer)
as advertised through the Ajira Portal under the Public Service Recruitment
Secretariat (PSRS). I am a Tanzanian citizen and a holder of a Bachelor Degree in
Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam, awarded in 2022.
I have practical experience in software development and ICT systems gained
through working as an IT Technician at Hookit Company Ltd, Web Developer and
Computer Scientist at IRA UDSM, and Computer Scientist at HOVU Company Ltd.
Through these roles, I have been involved in developing, deploying, and
maintaining web-based applications and supporting ICT systems in different
operational environments.
I possess strong skills in application programming and software development using
modern technologies, system analysis and design, database integration, debugging
and troubleshooting, and version control practices. I am also experienced in
developing user-friendly systems that meet organizational requirements and
improve operational efficiency. My background has strengthened my ability to
translate user requirements into functional and efficient software solutions.
I am confident that my academic qualifications, technical competencies, and hands-
on experience in software development make me a suitable candidate for the
Application Programmer role. I am motivated to contribute to the development of
reliable and efficient government digital systems.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to be considered for this position and I am
