INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1 The candidate shall read all the instructions before submitting the online applications
2 While submitting application through online, the candidates shall ensure that he/she fulfills
the eligibility criteria along with other norms and all the particulars furnished by the
candidate is correct in all respects relating to educational qualification / reservations.
3 Candidates shall provide their Mobile number and valid E-mail ID (Mandatory) for
communication at relevant columns while submitting online application. The authority is not
responsible for non-receipt of SMS or E-mail due to furnishing of incorrect information i.e.,
invalid Mobile number and E-mail).
4 To avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to submit the online application well in
advance. The website will accept the application/ application fee (through Net Banking /
Credit/ Debit/ UPI ID/ Qrcode) round the clock upto 21.05.2026 till 11.59 p.m.
Note:- After successful payment of fee from the SBI e-pay Portal, the canddiates are hereby
instructed to download the e-receipt from SBI e-pay Portal in PDF format.
5 On submission of online application and after payment of application fee, the candidates
have to upload all the documents as relied upon by them viz., Certificates of qualification,
Certificates of reservations, as claimed.
6 The decision of the High Court of Karnataka will be final as to the eligiblity of an applicant
for Interview or otherwise.
7 Intimation will be sent to the eligible candidates through SMS / Email to the Mobile number/
E-mail ID as furnished by the candidates at the time of submission of online application. The
list of eligible candidates listed for Interview will be published on the website of High Court
of Karnataka [Link] Further, a link will be provided for
downloading the Intimation for Interview. Candidate must bring his/her Intimation letter at
the time of appearing for Interview.
8 Candidates called for Interview will have to appear at their own cost at the place and time
notified by High Court of Karnataka.
9 Candidates called for Interview shall produce a copy of Intimation along with Proof of
Identity (i.e., Voter ID or Aadhaar Card or PAN Card or Ration Card or Passport or Driving
Licence in Original) and all the original documents/testimonials with a set of self attested
photo copies i.e., SSLC Marks Card or equivalent examination, Caste Certificate and Income
certificate, if applicable, Other reservations i.e., Rural from I to X standard, Kannada Medium
from I to X standard, Persons with Benchmark Disability, Persons Displaced from Project, Ex-
serviceman (Discharge Summary), Transgender and Character Certificates (one from the
institution where candidate has completed 10th standard or equivelent course and two from
respectable persons) for verification purpose. .
10 Mere success in the Interview shall not confer any right to appointment and no candidate
shall be appointed to the post unless the High Court of Karnataka is satisfied, after such
enquiries as may be considered necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respects for
appointment to the post.

11 The candidate shall upload his/her latest passport size photograph with white background
(having 5 cm of length X 3.5 cm of breadth with max. size 50kb) and signature on white paper
in black ball point pen (having 2.5 cm of length X 7.5 cm of breadth with max. size 25kb) in
jpg format. The same shall be clear and visible.
12 If the candidates are employed/working in any State Government or Central Government or
an establishment in public sector, the candidates shall mention correctly in the online
application. If the candidate is selected, he/she shall produce No Objection Certificate from
the concerned department, where he/she is working. [As per Rule 11 of Karnataka Civil
Service (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977].
13 If at any stage of recruitment it is found that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms
and/or that he/she has suppressed/twisted or truncated any material facts, his/her
candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is found even after
appointment, his/her appointment shall be liable to be terminated. Furnishing of wrong,
incomplete or incorrect information would not only lead to disqualification but also liable
for criminal prosecution.
