Homework Writing Task 1

The report analyzes trends in mortality and fertility rates in Australia from 1901 to 2101, predicting a significant rise in death rates and a decline in birth rates. It highlights that the birth rate peaked in 1961 but is expected to drop considerably in the future, while the fertility rate, although initially lower, is projected to surpass births around the early 2040s. Additionally, the report discusses subsidies from various organizations to less developed countries, noting that only one organization showed an upward trend, while others declined, and it also describes significant changes in the coastal area of Felix Stone since 1967.

This report derives from a line chart which illustrates the mortality and fertility rate in

Australia, measured in thousands, over a two-century period from 1901 to 2101 giving the
future prediction.

Overall, the death rate is expected to rise dramatically whereas the domestic natality is
predicted to give a decline over the same period. It is also noticeable that the birth rate
initially took the higher place than the mortality.

Looking first at the increasing statistic, the birth rate was accounted for over 20
thousands(ths) at the beginning and then gradually increased despite any fluctuations in the
next 40 years until soaring constantly up its peak in 1961 by 65ths. Having dropped to 50ths
in 1981, the figure rebounded at the corresponding number of 60ths which subsequently
witnessed a sudden decrease to the previous point until undergoing a plunge which is finally
predicted a considerable drop of population growth by 42ths in the future.

Turning to the remaining figure, despite the lower starting position around 9ths cases, the
fertility ratio still reported a steadily rapid growth which constantly rose at around 28ths in
2001. In the next 20-year period, its figure saw a jump which reached its peak and is indeed
projected to surpass births, making an intersected turning point at around the early 2040s.
After witnessing a noteworthy mark, death cases eventually will remain intact to the end of
the period.

This report derives from a bar chart which illustrates the distinctive subsidies in each less
developed countries from five primary organizations, measured in billion dollars (B), over
the four-year period, starting from 2008 to 2011.
Overall, Organization (Org) 2 was the only subject undergoing an upward trajectory while
both of Org 4&5 experienced the opposite trend. It is also noticeable that Org 2 was
accounted for the highest contribution whereas Org 4 dedicated the least segment throughout
the surveyed time.

Looking first at the increasing data, Org 2 initially stood at over a bit 1B and then
continuously rose at approximately 1.5B until suddenly soaring up to its peak in the final
year by 2.5B. Conversely, although Org 4&5 witnessed the similar tendency, Org 5
contributed the higher subsidies than Org 4 which nearly doubled in the first two years.
However, Org 5 subsequently stayed at 0.6B meanwhile Org 4 marked a turning point when
dominating a bit larger by 0.1B. For the last year, in 2011, 0.5B and 0.3B were reported
respectively for Org 5 and 4.

Turning to the remaining figures, Org 1 dedicated for the smaller contribution at 0.6B,
compared to three-fold gap of Org 3. Similarly, the following year number of Org 3 stayed at
around 1.7B doubling the Org 1’s support in the same year. As for the last two surveyed
time, Org 1 reported an intact number while Org 3 gave a slight increase.

This report derives from two diagrams which illustrate the main changes of a coastal area
called “Felix Stone” had been taken place since 1967. Overall, this region had completely
witnessed a significant transformation after the constructions of sports facilities as well as
the expansion of purchase sectors, serving for living demands. However, these
improvements had sacrificed green space and the north fishery section.

Looking first at the northeast area, the used to be a rounded farmland had been converted
into a square-shaped recreational space which mainly contained sports infrastructures such as
swimming pool, tennis courts and a small hotel located at the top right-hand corner. As for
the central part, there were two certain units of shopping stores laid parallelly between a high
street which was connected to the larger road, making into a T-shaped lane. Golf course was
adjacent to be the northwest giving the second remained unchanged area.

Shifting attention to the south sections, fish market was another striking change which was
worthy mentioning first when being replaced via a private beach located at the southeast
region. Similarly, the used to be domestic port was paved the way for a new public beach
which was distinguished by a broken line. Moving to the southwest positions, hotel stayed
intact before getting a new car park situated next to several wind turbines.
This report derives from two charts which in combination illustrate the percentage of
teenagers, sexualized via two genders studying a foreign language in an English speaking
nation where it was categorized into three-dominated languages in 1984 and 2007. Overall,
female numbers recorded the higher percent than male’s throughout the surveyed time. It is
also noticeable that French was prevalent at the largest segment whereas Spanish was
accounted for the lowest number in both years.

Looking first at the demographic of 14-16 year-old cohort picking a foreign language, female
data initially ranked at the highest place by nearly 50%, compared to 30% of the male’s
figure which gave the approximately two-fold gap between two indicators. Despite
witnessing a slight decline in the next examined year, female constantly made up for the
largest share by 40% meanwhile man similarly experienced a small decrease by 2% in
comparison with the prior time.

Turning to the remaining features, French stood at the its peak at 50% at the beginning and
then saw a sudden drop which two-fold decline in the final year. Followed by the German’s
participants, German was the language respectively recording the second least attendance
with 20% and 15%, making the smallest gap in this respect. As for the last language, Spanish
started at the lowest point; however, it make a turning mark when being the only figure
having the increasing tendency by 10%.
