Section 1 : Introduction & Background

1. Tell us about yourself and your previous work experience.


Ans. My name is Kritika Manikandan. I was born and raised in mumbai and i have recently my
graduation in Bachelors of Management Studies with a specialisation in finance with an overall
CGPa of 8.11 from Tolani College of Commerce. During my academic journey, I have
completed an internship at SuperClan LLP, in Operations & Finance Dept. where i gained
practical exposure of handling day to day operations tasks,coordination and basic financial
processes.

2. Why are you interested in working in a Founder’s Office role?


Ans. I believe this role will give me a good exposure to practical industrial skills and gradually I
will be able to take on responsibilities and leadership opportunities.

3. What experience do you have in documentation, coordination, or project


management?
Ans. I have experience preparing documents and presentations for college assignments and
projects. I have also participated in group projects both in my college and inter-college activities,
where I coordinated with team members, managed tasks, and ensured work was completed on
time.

4. Have you worked on EPC, infrastructure, water supply, or government projects


before?
Ans. No, I have no experience in this field, but I am eager to learn.

5. What do you understand about SCADA, IoT, PLC, and automation systems?
Ans. I have a basic understanding of SCADA, IoT, PLC, and automation systems, which I
learned through online research and self-learning. I understand that these systems are used for
monitoring, controlling, and automating industrial operations.
Section 2 : Documentation & Technical Coordination

6. Explain the process of preparing a technical document submission for a government


project.
Ans. First, all technical inputs and specifications are collected from site team. Then documents
are prepared according to client or tender requirements, reviewed internally for accuracy, and
submitted in the required format with proper approvals.

7. What documents are generally required for AMRUT 2.0 or JJM projects?
Ans. Generally, documents include BOQs, technical datasheets, GA drawings, P&ID drawings,
compliance sheets, cable schedules, project timelines, approvals, inspection reports, and
techno-commercial documents.

8. How do you manage document revisions and version control?


Ans. I will maintain proper naming formats, revision numbers, dates, and updated records in
trackers or folders. This helps avoid confusion and ensures everyone works on the latest
version.

9. Have you prepared: • P&ID Drawings • I/O Lists • Cable Schedules • Datasheets • BOQs
• Techno-commercial proposals?
Ans. I have basic understanding of these concepts.

10. How do you ensure accuracy before submitting documents to clients or


consultants?
Ans. I will cross-check technical details, formatting, calculations, and approvals. I will also
review client requirements carefully to ensure compliance before submission

11. What steps do you take if a consultant rejects a submitted document?


Ans. First, I would understand the reason for rejection, discuss corrections with the concerned
team, make the required revisions quickly, and resubmit the updated document with proper
clarification.

12. How do you coordinate with engineering and procurement teams for technical
inputs?
Ans. I maintain regular communication through calls, emails, meetings, and trackers to ensure
timely collection of required inputs and updates.
Section 3: Founder’s Office / Operations
13. How would you assist a founder in managing multiple ongoing projects?
Ans.I would help by tracking deadlines, maintaining reports, coordinating with the site team,
organizing documents, and ensuring regular follow-ups so that project progress remains
smooth.

14. Describe a situation where you handled multiple deadlines simultaneously.


Ans. When i was in College , i had participated in many fest and i used to handle the
responsibilities related to fest alongside managed my studies, assignments.

15. How do you prioritize tasks when everything seems urgent?


Ans. I first identify deadlines and business impact, then divide tasks into high, medium, and low
priority while communicating updates regularly.

16. What tools do you use for tracking tasks and project progress?
Ans. I am comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, calendars,ChatGPT and communication
tools like email and WhatsApp.

17. How would you improve internal workflow efficiency in a startup environment?
Ans. I would create structured trackers, standardize documentation formats, improve
communication flow, and maintain proper follow-up systems.

18. Have you ever handled client follow-ups or stakeholder coordination?


Ans. Yes, during my internship I coordinated with team members and followed up regarding
operational tasks and updates.

Ans. I will communicate politely, clearly, and formally through proper emails or calls while
maintaining professionalism and accuracy in information.

Ans. During my college fest, there were many situations where many misunderstandings
happened between me and my sponsors but eventually I handled it successfully.

22. How do you ensure proper follow-up without sounding aggressive?


Ans. I will send polite reminders, maintain professionalism, and focus on timelines.

Understanding

23. Rate your Excel skills from 1–10.


Ans. I would rate my Excel skills around 7/10. I am comfortable with formulas, formatting, filters,
reports, and data organization.

24. Can you create: • Comparison sheets • Cost tracking reports • Vendor databases •
BOQ summaries?

them independently yet, I am eager to learn and confident that I can adapt quickly.

25. Explain how you would prepare a technical-commercial comparison sheet.


Ans. I would list all vendors and compare technical specifications, pricing, delivery timelines,
warranty, and compliance details in a structured Excel format for easy evaluation.

26. What is the difference between a quotation, PO, PI, BOQ, and invoice?
Ans. Quotation: Price offer from vendor
PO (Purchase Order): Official order issued to vendor
PI (Proforma Invoice): Preliminary invoice before final billing
BOQ (Bill of Quantities): Detailed quantity and cost estimate
Invoice: Final bill for payment processing

27. How do you maintain procurement and vendor records?


Ans. I maintain organized Excel sheets and folders containing vendor details, quotations, POs,
invoices, and communication records for easy tracking and reference.
Section 6: Problem Solving & Situational Questions

28. A tender submission deadline is tomorrow, but technical inputs are incomplete. What
will you do?
Ans. I would immediately coordinate with the concerned teams, prioritize pending inputs, follow
up actively, and prepare available sections simultaneously to avoid delays.

29. A vendor is delaying datasheet submission. How would you handle it?
Ans. I would politely follow up through calls and emails, explain the urgency and keep checking
until I receive the datasheet. If needed, I would also inform my team or senior.

30. A client asks for urgent revisions late at night. How would you manage the situation?
Ans. I would first check the urgency and the type of revisions required. If the changes are
minor, I would try to complete them the same night. If they are major revisions, I would politely
inform the client about the expected completion time and make it my first priority to complete
them by the next day before noon.

31. If the founder asks for an operational report within 1 hour, how would you prepare it
quickly?
Ans. I would collect the latest available data, focus on key project updates and pending actions,
use existing templates, and prepare a concise and accurate report efficiently.
Section 7: Startup & Ownership Mindset

32. Why do you want to work in a startup instead of a large company?


Ans. I prefer startups because they provide faster learning opportunities, wider responsibilities,
and direct exposure to business operations.

33. Are you comfortable handling responsibilities outside your job description?
Ans. Yes, I am comfortable taking additional responsibilities.

34. How do you handle pressure and uncertainty?


Ans. I stay calm, organize tasks properly, focus on solutions, and maintain clear communication
to manage pressure effectively.

Ans. To me, ownership mindset means taking responsibility for work, being proactive, solving
