MODULE INTRODUCTION

This module is designed to impart basic concepts of gross

and microscopic structures, development, relevant
biochemical and functional aspects of central, peripheral
and autonomic nervous system. It aims to integrate the
basic knowledge with clinical aspect for better
understanding of mechanisms underlying most common
neurological disorders, their epidemiology and important
mechanisms for their prevention. It inculcates clinical
skills, research, professionalism and public health.
