From the weeks between 5th of May to the 6th June ,2025, group 4 (Skylar Lindsey-

2.A HISTOGRAM OF CARS COLLECTED

The histogram below shows the data of cars collected from the Princes Town to Palo Seco south
region

 The histogram above describes the distribution data of the cars and their number plates
across class intervals. The most cars were 9 in a range of (2.7,4.4). The middle interval
was 8 in a range of (1,2.7) and the smallest amount was 2 in a range of (4.4,6.1). This
indicates that the majority of data of concentrated between the numbers 1 and 4.4 with a
slight increase in cars (6.1).

[Link] MEAN, MODE AND MEDIAN OF CARS COLLECTED

3|Page
MEAN
(the average of value of data)
This is calculated by adding up all your numbers in your chart and dividing it by
how much numbers there are in the set.
(5+4+2+2+3+0+4+3+0+2+0+5+1+4+3+4+4+4+2+2)¿ 54 ÷ 20 = 2.7

Mean = 2.7 cars collected

MODE
(the most frequent number in the dataset)
We find a mode in statistics by looking at the giving numbers and see which of the
numbers shows up most often

5422304302051434442

As u can see the number 4 shows up 6 times in the dataset making the mode = 4
cars

MEDIAN
4|Page
(The middle value)
To find the median, you will have to: line the numbers up and search for a middle
value. But if they are even numbers find the mean of two of them.

5422304302051434442

In all 20 numbers 2 in the middle value making the

Median = 2 cars

as seen in the pie chart and in the information below.
