Scene 1: Luisfer and Diego are working on a group project, struggling with the title.
Diego: Luisfer! You got it wrong!! It was supposed to be Red!! Not orange!!
Luisfer: Oh! What the flip! Dang it, how do we fix it??
Diego: I don’t know and we don’t have any liquid paper…
(Natalia opens the classroom door and steps inside, Luisfer and Diego haven’t noticed her
presence.)
Diego: I’ll just overlap the orange with red…
(As he writes with red over the orange marker, the project accidentally rips.)
Natalia: What are you both doing?! The project is due tomorrow!! Oh my god you morons!! I
buy all of the material and I get rewarded with THIS?!
(Natalia is notoriously angry, so she slaps Diego, who was the closest to her.)
Diego: Ouch! Hey, stop it!!!
(Natalia keeps slapping Diego, and his nose starts to bleed.)
Luisfer: Haha! Loser!
(As he was about to keep laughing at Diego, Natalia’s hand meets his cheek with a slap.)
Dri: What’s wrong with you!
(Luisfer tries to defend himself but the fight stops anyways since the teacher came to cease
the fight.)
Mr. Mati: Stop, Natalia. Stop it!!
Natalia: What now??
Mr. Mati: You can’t just hit your classmates!! I’ll have a meeting with the counselor AND
your mom arranged today, just so you know that.
Natalia: God forbid a girl wants to do anything these days…
Mr. Mati: Leave the classroom. I’ll call your mom!
Natalia: Oh my god…
Natalia leaves the classroom, in the meantime Mr. Mati grabs his phone and calls Natalia’s
mom, Mrs. Isabella.
Scene 2: The students have all left the classroom, and Mr. Mati is on his phone.
Mr. M: Hello Mrs. Isabella. I’m sorry to inform you that your daughter has caused some
trouble at the school and you’ll have to come right now.
Mrs. M: She’s okay, please come.
Scene 3: In the counselor’s office, Mr. Jezet is waiting for Natalia and her mom.
Mrs. Isabella steps inside.
Mrs. I: Hello Mr. Jezet, may we come in?
Mr. J: Good evening, yes you may.
(Mrs. I steps inside with a hesitant Natalia.)
Mr. J: Well Mrs. Isabella, I’ll have to have a talk with you and Natalia.
Your daughter got engaged in a fight with her classmates today while working on a project
with them. Has she ever acted like this before?
Mrs. I: She has not! I mean… she reached aggressivity at the slightest before, but she’s never
reached a point too bad that she resorts to physical violence!
Mr. J: I see… well Natalia, why did you do that?
N: Well! They messed up our project that is due tomorrow, and didn’t contribute to
anything besides BREAKING IT!! That’s so messed up!
J: I see, noticed that the project is very important to you and feeling mad about it is totally
understandable. But the problem started when you hit your classmates.
N: Well… I don’t know. I just couldn’t control it… it’s not like they didn’t deserve it anyway!
It was like an instinct.
J: I see what’s happening now, tell me, have you ever heard about the philosopher Spinoza?
N: No… who’s that? What’d he say?
J: Well he used to explain exactly what you described to me right now. The instincts, the vice
of reacting violently to external events.
N: pfft… what are you even trying to say?
J: What I mean is that what you’re going through is very normal before and hence can be
fixed. Listen — when you feel like this, it’s best to first of all, relax, then understand your

going on and therefore will start to break the vice and craft a virtue.

Scene 4: With the backpack, the students discuss on what to do now.
D: Well, I suggest that I buy a new poster board. Then we can make a new poster in Luisfer’s
house. I got no problem in doing that.
L: Yes I agree, we can go to my place.
N & D: Sure.
Scene 5: They’re making a new project, chatting peacefully and doing it alright.
Scene 6: The next day at school, they present their project and get a 10.
Mr. M: Okay guys, well done! I’m glad you could fix your project. You get a 10.
D, L & N: Yay!
