Tutorial Question: Research Methods Practical Group Assignment

Tutorial Assignment Title: Development of a Research Proposal into a Full Research Report
Each group is required to select one research proposal prepared by any member of the group that
is relevant to the group’s area of specialization and develop it into a complete research project. The
selected proposal should be refined and used as the basis for data collection, analysis,
interpretation, and report writing. Each group should collect primary data from 45 respondents
using an appropriate data collection tool, such as a questionnaire, interview guide, or observation
checklist, depending on the nature of the study. The data collection instrument should be clearly
linked to the research objectives, research questions, and variables of the study.

After data collection, each group should conduct data analysis in line with the demographic
information and specific objectives of the study. The analysis may include descriptive statistics
such as frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations, as well as other relevant data
analysis techniques depending on the nature of the study.

Each group should prepare and submit a complete research report containing all research report
chapters.

Specific Requirements:
Each group should ensure that:
I. The selected proposal is improved before data collection.
II. The sample size should be 45 respondents.
III. The data collection tool is attached as an appendix.
IV. The analysis is conducted according to demographic information and each research
objective.
V. Tables and figures are properly numbered and titled.
VI. The report follows proper academic formatting, including title page, table of contents,
references, and appendices.
VII. References should follow an accepted academic referencing style, preferably APA 7th
edition.

Expected Output:
Each group is expected to submit: A complete research report developed from the selected
proposal, supported by actual data collected from 45 respondents and analyzed according to the
research objectives.

Presentation Requirement
Each group will present its research report in class. The presentation should cover the research
problem, objectives, methodology, key findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Each group
member should actively participate in both the report preparation and presentation.
