1. INTRODUCTION TO
REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH
Reproductive health refers to a state of complete
physical, mental and social well-being in all
aspects of reproduction, not merely the absence of
disease (as per WHO).
It includes safe and satisfying sexual life, the
ability to reproduce, and the freedom to decide if,
when, and how often to have children.
Key aspects covered in this project: human
reproduction basics, importance, problems,
contraceptive methods, and their role in modern
society.
2. IMPORTANCE OF
REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH
Reproductive health is essential for personal well-
being, family planning, and societal development.
IMPORTANCE:
* Enables safe and responsible sexual behavior
* Prevents sexually transmitted infections (HIV,
syphilis, gonorrhea, Chlamydia, etc.)
* Reduces maternal and infant mortality rates

child spacing

REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH
Many challenges affect reproductive health,
especially in developing countries.
