📌 MODULE OVERVIEW
About Baamboozle
Baamboozle ([Link]) is a free, browser-based interactive game platform
designed for classroom learning. Teachers can create custom quiz games or use existing
games. Students participate in teams, answering questions to earn points. The platform
supports pictures, text, and various question types, making it ideal for vocabulary learning at
the elementary level.

Purpose Measure students' baseline vocabulary knowledge before
treatment

Pre-test Instructions
The pre-test is administered to BOTH the Experiment Class and the Control Class before
any treatment begins. Results will serve as baseline data for comparison with post-test
scores.
Pre-test Format
• Section A – Matching: Match 10 English words to their Indonesian translation. (10
points)
• Section B – Fill in the Blank: Complete 10 sentences with the correct vocabulary
word. (10 points)
• Section C – Identify the Picture: Write the correct English word for 10 pictures. (10
points)

(5 min) • Teacher demonstrates one example item on the whiteboard
for each section so students understand the format.
• Teacher answers any questions about the instructions (not
about the vocabulary).
• Teacher reminds students: 'Do your best — answer what you
know and skip what you don't.'
Main Activity • Teacher says: 'You may begin!' and students flip over their 30 minutes
(30 min) worksheets.
• Section A – Matching (10 min): Students match 10 English
words to Indonesian translations.
• Section B – Fill in the Blank (10 min): Students complete 10
sentences with the correct vocabulary word.
• Section C – Identify the Picture (10 min): Students write the
correct English word for 10 pictures.
• Teacher walks around silently to monitor; no hints or
vocabulary assistance provided.
