Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Store Developer to manage and optimize our two online
furniture stores. Your primary focus will be ensuring a seamless shopping experience through
frontend customization, maintaining robust data integrity between Shopify and our ERP system,
and handling day-to-day store administration. The ideal candidate understands the unique
aesthetics of the furniture industry and the technical requirements of the Saudi Arabian market.

Key Responsibilities
1. Store Administration & Data Management

 Multi-Store Management: Manage backend settings, navigation, and product catalogs for
two distinct Shopify stores.

 Product Catalog Updates: Handle bulk uploads of high-resolution furniture imagery,


complex product variants (colors, materials, sizes), and meta-fields.
 Inventory Accuracy: Ensure stock levels are synchronized across all sales channels and
physical warehouse locations.
2. Technical Integration (ERP focus)

 ERP Connectivity: Maintain and troubleshoot the integration between Shopify and our
ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Odoo) to automate order
processing and inventory updates.

 API Management: Utilize Shopify’s Admin and Storefront APIs to bridge data gaps and
optimize automated workflows.

 Third-Party Apps: Audit and manage existing apps (loyalty programs, reviews, AR tools)
to ensure they don't compromise site speed.

Frontend Development & Customization

 Liquid Customization: Develop and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS,
and JavaScript to create premium, furniture-focused layouts.

 UX/UI Optimization: Implement custom frontend features like "Shop the Room,"
advanced filtering, and high-performance product landing pages.
 Mobile-First Design: Ensure the stores are fully responsive, with a specific focus on high
performance for Saudi Arabia’s mobile-heavy user base.

4. Regional Localization

 Arabic Support: Ensure right-to-left (RTL) layout consistency and high-quality Arabic
localization across both stores.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Experience: 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience (Portfolio


required).

 Technical Stack: Proficient in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), and JavaScript (ES6+).

 Integration Expert: Proven experience integrating Shopify with external ERP/WMS


systems.

 Data Savvy: Strong knowledge of CSV management, Excel, and Shopify’s bulk editor.

 Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in retail (furniture or home decor is a major


plus) and understanding of high-ticket item e-commerce.
