Discovery of Cell
Robert Hooke observed dead cork cells in 1665. Anton van Leeuwenhoek observed living cells.

Cell Theory

Types of Cells
Prokaryotic: no true nucleus. Eukaryotic: true nucleus and membrane-bound organelles.
