West Bengal Public Service Commission will conduct the following exams. to select
Supervisors (Direct) through competitive examination -
1. Preliminary Exam. - (100 Marks)
2. Mains Exam. - (400 Marks)
3. Viva Voce Test - (50 Marks)
Prelims Test will be qualifying in nature of appearing in the mains exam. Marks of preliminary
exam. will not be counted for final merit list preparation.
Candidates qualified in the mains exam. will be called for interview/personality test.
Final Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Mains Exam. & Interview.
Recruitment of Supervisor Exam. Pattern 2019 :
Preliminary Exam. Pattern :
• Number of questions - 100
• Total Marks - 100 (each question will carry 1 marks)
• Question Type - MCQ (objective type)
• Duration - 1 hour
• Negative marking - Yes
Mains Exam. Pattern :
• Type of questions : Descriptive type
• Main Exam. paper will consist of 4 different Papers which are - Paper I, Paper II, Paper III,
Paper IV.
