Executive Summary
For each user-specified location, we identified local aged-care and disability
service providers and collected contact details. In Rockhampton (QLD
4700) and Fitzgibbon (QLD 4018), there are relatively few large
providers; we list as many as could be found (short of the target 30/50). The
top placement-friendly centres (ones noting student placements or
having educational affiliations) include large non-profits or health services.
For Rockhampton, Carinity Shalom (North Rockhampton) is prominent[1].
For Fitzgibbon (Brisbane northside), major Brisbane aged-care and NDIS
providers in nearby suburbs (e.g. iCare, Achieve Australia, Brightwater,
Mercy Community) typically accept Certificate III placement students.
Common requirements across these providers include a valid Working With
Children/Vulnerable People check and up-to-date vaccinations (standard for
aged/disability placements).
Methodology: We searched within the driving radius the user specified (20–
30 km) around each address for accredited aged-care residences (e.g.
“Rockhampton aged care homes”) and NDIS/disability support organisations.
We prioritized official sources (provider websites, government directories).
Each provider’s site was checked for placement policy; if none was stated,
we marked “Unspecified” and cited the site. Contact details (address, phone,
email, URL) are from official pages or trusted directories. For each location,
we present separate tables. Coverage area maps (Mermaid “flowchart” style)
mark the search radius.

For each location we: (1) set a search radius (30 km for
Rockhampton/Fitzgibbon, 10 km for Mulgrave, 20 km for Perth); (2) searched
“aged care” and “NDIS/disability services” near the address; (3) used
directory sites (AgedCareGuide, Government finders) to list local facilities;
(4) visited each official website to extract name, address, phone, email, URL,
and any mention of student placements or volunteer programs; (5) if no
placement info was on the site, we recorded “Unspecified” and cited the
site. We prioritized official sources (provider pages, government sites).
Where fewer than the requested number of centres exist, we listed all those
found and noted the shortfall.
