We hope that this letter finds you well!

It has recently been the call of our members to organize an event that would encourage our youth
to regain physical nurture ever since the Covid-19 pandemic hit globally. Two years ago since
the lock down was imposed our community have never had the chance to facilitate events that
would encourage our youth to nurture themselves and to grow as an individual through the
essence of camaraderie in sports.

The Springwoods Youth Organization, an active organization within our community would like
to conduct an Exclusive Summer Basketball League for our young and interested residents
within our subdivision. We have conducted a poll through our group to hear the voice of the
youth. Around 70+ members mostly composed of 18years of age and older, whose families are
registered residents within our barangay have positively responded to join the event.

In line with this, we composed this letter for our organization to be given the support to conduct
the event to nurture our youth. We humbly ask from your office any form of help that would
allow us to conduct this event seamlessly.

Our organization’s main priority right now is to be able to rehabilitate our basketball court from
its current situation. We are in need of the following for us to be able to conduct this event:
1. Adequate lighting – The plan is to install fixed post for our basketball court or overhead
wire-hanged lamps whichever the budget allows.
2. Maintenance of benches – Rehabilitate our rotten and old benches for the audience and
players to rest.
3. Miscellaneous – Player Jerseys, balls, paints for the remaining unpainted flooring

Rest assured our organization will follow safety protocols set by the easement of restriction
through the imposition of alert level 2 in Cebu Province and will require that every participant to
this event be fully vaccinated and had been given the booster shot prior to the starting of the
event. We will be humbled and remember whatever help you will be providing our youth for this
event.
