1) Prepare the bole: Carefully cut the plastic bottle in

half. Use the top half (with the cap) as a funnel and the
bottom half to hold the filtered water.
2) Add Filtration Material: Turn the top half upside
down and place it into the bottom base. Stuff cotton balls
or a coffee filter into the neck of the bottle to prevent
materials from falling through.
a) Layer 1 (Boom): Cotton balls
b) Layer 2: Charcoal (removes impurities and toxins)
c) Layer 3: Sand
d) Layer 4: Gravel or pebbles
e) Layer 5 (Top): Rocks (traps large debris)
3) Filter the Water: Slowly pour the dirty water into the
bottle filter. Watch as it passes through the layers.
1) Cut a piece of thread. Use a piece of
sellotape to secure the ping pong ball to
the end of the yarn.
2) Aach the yarn with the ping pong ball
to the cardboard so that it hangs freely.
3) Strike the tuning fork on any solid
materials.
4) Hold the vibrating tuning fork a few
cm away from the ping pong ball.
5) Now make sure the ping pong ball is
still and repeat again but allow the
vibrating tuning fork to touch the ball.
1) Glue Cap to Disk: Apply hot glue around the
bottom edge of the bottle cap and press it onto the
center hole of the CD. Ensure it is perfectly
centered and, importantly, air-tight to prevent
leaks.
2) D: Allow the glue to dry for about 10 minutes.
3) Prepare Balloon: Blow up the balloon and twist
the neck to keep the air inside (do not tie it).
4) Assemble: Carefully stretch the balloon neck
over the top of the pop-top cap without releasing
all the air.
5) Launch: Place the hovercraft on a smooth, flat
surface. Pull the top of the cap up (open it) and
give it a gentle nudge to watch it hover.
1. Prep the Blower: Cut the bottom off the
plastic water bottle.
2. Aach the Fabric: Slide the baby wipe
over the cut end of the bottle and secure it with
a rubber band, making sure it is pulled taut.
3. Prepare the Solution: In a plastic plate,
mix roughly 1 part dish soap with 2–3 parts
water.
4. Add Color: Dot several drops of food
coloring onto the fabric in a rainbow pattern.
5. Dip and Blow: Dip the sock-covered end
of the bottle into the bubble solution, then
gently blow through the mouth of the bottle.
